Great knife, sharpened to excess
Great knife, sharpened to excess, even on thumb studs were way too sharp! The studs were perfectly machined, but not trimmed down to avoid cutting my thumb. A little bit of beveling would have gone a long way. End of the day, I bought this as the last, most expensive knife I intend to buy, and it is fitting the bill. I was worried it would be too big, but it is perfectly portioned. The steel is amazing, and the dymondwood is superb. Really, really happy with this knife. Even if I'll need a bandaid and some sandpaper to sort out this thumb cutting fiasco. The gimping on the blade was a major detractor when I was researching, but once you put a finger on it, you see how great it is to have. The weird uber gimping by the gut hook bewildered me...until it aided tremendously in drawing. Everything is designed with purpose in this knife, and form following function is apparent here. Great stuff, but damn...bevel those frigging edges!

Every Day Carry Knife
Great EDC knife. Looks good, feels good & comfortable in the hand. I really like the wood handles even though they won't take the abuse of G-10 or Micarta. More of a "gentlemens" knife than a camping/survival knife. One-handed opening using the thumb stud is smooth as glass. Opens very easily and quickly. The AXIS Lock also makes one-handed closing smooth and easy. One of the sharpest out-of-the-box knives I've ever encountered.

Love this knife!
Awesome knife. A little big for EDC, but I look for excuses to carry it anyway. Smooth action, Axis Lock is fantastic for both quick one-handed opening and closing. Dymondwood handle looks (and feels) great for a work knife and is basically water and stain proof as well as extremely strong/dense/tough. Really love this knife, particularly with the sharpener and mini-light.
