I was expecting a thicker wrap to help with stopping power with heavy weights, instead I got something with quite a bit of elastic and material comparable to the contraband 2 stripe heavy knee wraps or between titan titaniums and THP's. It's possible to cast them up for stopping power but it's a bit difficult without completely cutting off circulation. They're great for high bar work and provide excellent rebound out of the hole, but aren't the best for low bar and stopping you from going too deep with a wide stance. It's a quality versatile wrap for sure, I just don't feel it's "extra heavy" compared to the contraband extremes or titan THP's.At any rate these ARE NOT suitable for someone doing crossfit or just casual lifting, they are still very much so purpose built powerlifting knee wraps for a competitor or serious enthusiast.
