Having bought and destroyed what feels like hundreds of scissors, I have finally found these. The steel tangs run the full length of the handles through the plastic. This means that when I am preparing game or cutting off fish fins I am not going to snap the handles. The blades themselves are so sharp I didn't need a separate knife to slice up through the belly of the last fish I gutted... and the scissor action is brilliant... even sublime. The fish scaler is a nice touch. Very sturdy and resiliant. The fact that they dissemble for cleaning was a really good idea.Design is clever and they very well made. Delivery very prompt. This was my best purchase on Amazon in at least 5 years!! Very happy... And contrary to how this review may appear, I don't normally get excited about tools!!!

Bought as a replacement for our old shears after being disappointed with those available in the local shops feeling too lightweight and fragile, or horrendously expensive.These were a reasonable price, have a good, solid feel to them and - so far - are holding up well to heavy use.

I have bought several pairs of these scissors because they cut well and take apart easily for cleaning. I have only had one pair fail and sadly could not contact customer support.

I have been searching for a pair of scissors that are functional and easy to clean, having previously buying a pair of Martha Stewart scissors whilst living in the States. I thought the concept of them dismantling for easy cleaning was a brilliant idea. These are perfect and do what they say on the tin.
