Exo Terra Dinosaur Egg Fossil Ornament

My leopard gecko came to my house with a crappy ten-gallon tank and almost no hides, so I had to get her several. This looked super cute and like something she would enjoy. I removed everything else from her tank and placed this in there and Merkita went right over to check it out. When I put everything back in and rearranged the tank so this was under the heat spot she still uses it regularly. She's usually inside the horizontal egg, but I've seen her hanging out of the top one when she wants to get warmer. She doesn't lay on it much, but I've seen her do that too. She mainly switches between this and her humid hide, though now that it's getting hot here she's in her cool hide more. This isn't the sturdiest of items. It arrived whole and in good shape, but it wouldn't take much to shatter it. That's to be expected though. The holes are the perfect size for her to go in and out. There is no bottom, it just sits on the floor. Which kinda sucks but makes it easier to clean and ensures nothing can get stuck inside. The only thing that was disappointing is that it entirely hollow. There is no divider between the eggs. I was hoping the taller one would be a warmer hide and the horizontal egg would be slightly cooler, just to give Merkita more variety. But they aren't internally separated. I guess it's good in a way, it allows more air flow, but it was a surprise.

I got this hide for my garter snakes. It's cute to see them poking out of it like they're hatching :) It's one of many hides that they have, but they seem to like it. It's been easy to clean and there aren't any places I've seen where the snakes can get stuck.

Very nice product and design looks greate inside my terrarium.I have two small corn snakes,and it is enough to fit both of them easily. I would say will be usable for more than one year for my snakes until they grown.It is worth the moneyMy only issue the packaging because at the first time I received it broken then I requested a new one.

This hide looks nice, but my adult male leopard gecko has been completely uninterested in it. Not sure why. It does look very nice in the terrarium, but I took it out and replaced it with cork tubes since he likes those better. It takes up a good amount of space and makes for a nice corner piece.

I bought this for my leopard gecko. At first she wouldn't go in it. Eventually she got used to it and she loves it so much. She spends most of her time in it. This is a very good hide for privacy. I have it on the warm side of her tank and it holds the heat very well. The outer surface is easy for a leopard gecko to climb.

My 6 month old leopard gecko fits in it good and even has quite a bit of room leftover. She likes climbing on it and seems to like laying in it so far on her warm side. There is no bottom so its easy to get her out and she can also get her belly heat easy. Also the color is slightly different from the picture but it still looks really nice and I have no problem with it. Was delivered on time and it wasn't broken. Very good product and will be buying more in the future for my other geckos.

These things are awesome! So much space in the eggs to hide. The egg you see on the right with no opening is fully open in the inside for them to hide. The kids geckos are still babies and have no difficulty climbing in and out. Price is a little high I think, all other stuff I have is under 15$ but I HAD to have them for our dinosaur theme terrarium.

My snake loves this hide very much but there are a few things I've noticed that makes things difficult such as some of the insides of the eggs are razer sharp and I've had to file them down and it's difficult to keep the inside and to dry the inside .The outside however looks very cool and is very easy to clean

Sorry i dont have a picture i was to happy to put it in place and dont want to stress my little girl more than neededit has 3 kinda hiding spots in one. bought it for my crested gecko it fits in my arrangement for nowbut it would be more for a Leppard gecko to my view but the product is perfect my bet didn't look the dimensions correctly***to big for a 12x12x18***the dimensions are exactly as the description
