A Kid's Guide to the Armor of God

I got this for my class. I'm enjoying reading it, this book really breaks it down for kids. Love it!

Tony always knows how to break everything down so you can understand and also stay engaged. He knows how to captivate even the young audience! I got this book for my nephew and he’s loving it!

I bought this book to see what I could add to my teaching of putting on the armor that I start each Sunday School class with for children. I have very much enjoyed this book and have learned some things myself. I certainly recommend this book for ideas on how to deliver God’s Word to children.

Just used this book as the basis for our VBS, and it was awesome. Dr. Tony Evans has written a wonderful book for "tweens" that I wish every child had the opportunity to read. We had a very successful VBS, and I gave two copies of this book away to children at VBS for memorizing Bible verses. I also gave this book to a new Christian adult. Even though it is written for younger readers, Dr. Evans explains everything so well, that I thought it would be helpful for this person. They have read it, and loved it.

I purchased this for two younger girls 8 and 9 years old. A friend of mine is their mother. We read excerpts from the book prior to purchase and it is very well written. My friend is going through the book with her daughters to ensure they understand. The content is "real" and according to the word of God which is so important. You won't be disappointed. Great book!

This book is an excellent tool for using Biblical truths to teach children about spiritual warfare. Tony Evans does an excellent job of explaining deep theology at a child's level with plenty of scripture, examples, interactive questions, and explanation to make it clear to them. My co-teacher and I read this book and then discussed each chapter with our class while creating a lap book to go with each chapter. Overall a very fruitful study.

My kids are 9 and 6 and this has been great at bedtime before their prayers. I’m keeping it and rereading it again in a few years. Even I have learned some things!

Even adults would get much out of this by taking the armor of God back to the practical view from a child's perspective. I can also go through it with my kids every couple as they get older as I would be able to go deeper each time.

Fantastic devotional for my girls. I simplified it for my 6 year old but any child in race 2 and up should read this book with a parent. Good reminder for parents too. 😉
