SevylorRiverboat Pump

The double-acting pump allows me to get my 10' inflatable kayak into the water in about 10 minutes. The action is pretty smooth. My one gripe is the connection between hose and the fitting at the business end: the one on my original pump came loose soon after I bought it. I screwed it back into place and wrapped a piece of masking tape around it, figuring to make a more permanent repair later. But I never got around to it, and that masking tape held for at least two years before the pump was stolen. My vote of confidence is that I replaced it with its twin.

This is an AIRHEAD product; it looks almost identical and appears to have identical properties as the sevylor pump but with an additional attachment for the hose. The picture that is shown reflects the actual product you are purchasing, just the title is incorrect. It would receive 4 stars if the product was labeled correctly. It appears to be well made and lightweight, I haven't taken it out in a backpack yet but it seems pretty durable. The only exception to this may be the hose, which seems like it is pretty weak material that will crack if you bend or pinch it completely together. The fact that they thought about making a string that holds the attachments for the hose was pretty smart too as I know I am constantly losing the them.

I just bought a sevylor kayak. I bought this to blow it up. It came with 2 adapters, but neither fits the Boston Valves on the kayak.

I bought this to pump up our inflatable sevylor kayak. It works well enough but for the side walls, pumping it a project. The pieces never quite fit and won't hold on their own. I have to try to hold it on while using the pump.

This pump works great to pump up our 3 person Sevylor Big Basin Kayak quickly. No complaints, just happy kayaking!

Works well but pumps much better on the up strokes than the down strokes.

I love this pump..pumps up my Sevylor inflatable kayak in about 5 minutes..works great both on the up and down motion. Very easy to piece in the nozzle you need and they are all attached with a string so no chance of losing them. This pump is VERY lightweight and works well, even if wet. I haven't used the deflate action yet since I've just opened the nozzle on the boat to let it deflate immediately without any pumping action at all. Would highly recommend this pump, especially for the price!

We bought this for our 3 person Sevylor kayak. I was afraid the attachments might not for but it was perfect. Blew it up in about 10 minutes!
