2 box- Stabilyze Nutrition Bars, Gluten Free Protein Bars, Dark Chocolate Mint, 1.8oz Bars, 24 count

As a nutritionist, I think this is a great product. Good snack between meals, and handy when I'm on the go. However, they are way too expensive at $30-$36 per box. I have found them at various Costco stores for $16-$20 (Los Angeles area), & I noticed another reviewer found them in their local Costco for $11. They carry both these and the thin mint flavor. I will be buying them there from now on.

I absolutely love this bar. The taste is smooth and delicious, creamy balanced chocolate with a hint of mint and no hint of bitterness . The texture is the perfect combination of soft and easy to bite with a satisfying substantiality that approaches a crunch. Many "health bars" on the market are ...um...mushy. Eck. This bar does not fall into that category. It is firm. I have suffered from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and am as wont to faint as not without proper sustained nutrition. This bar makes the difference when my blood sugar is in need; its satisfying flavor and solid stabilizing factors can buy me as much as two hours between it and a real meal. "Why the four stars instead of five?" you wonder. The price and the price alone. These bars have nearly doubled in price since I first discovered them. As much as they are truly my favorite bar, I do not consent to the price hikes, and as such will not be able to bring them home again until that one thing changes.

These were great - but be sure to check the expiration date! I ordered this box of the chocolate mint after having been given one in the hospital after recent surgery. I also ordered a box of assorted flavors : chocolate mint, peanut butter, and coconut something. The date on the chocolate mint box was six months or so away, and the bars were soft and tasted fresh. The assorted box, on the other hand, only had a month or so to go, and the bars had gotten drier and harder.When fresh, the chocolate mint is really good. Without the odd, artificial taste that a lot of 'diet', etc. bars have...which also means they taste like a treat, and were hard for me to keep in the house without eating them all!Since my experience with this single flavor was good, I probably will order this box again -- I think they'd make great take-along snacks for traveling.UPDATE: I ordered the chocolate mint several times, and loved them each time. BUT when I came today to order some more, I found that the price has now DOUBLED in the past few months, which is ridiculous. I won’t be buying anymore. (sigh)

Now I tried this bar recently on a whim when I went to Costco and loved it!. They only have a few flavors (but I'm really hoping that they come out with more). So far all of the flavors have been great, the texture is nice too (soft and fluffy!) and the size isn't bad either. I'd honestly say that try any of the flavors from this brand if you're doing so for the first time ( there is Peanut Butter, and Mint Chocolate...and normally I'm not crazy about Mint and even liked their Mint).

Honestly love these bars!, I've had all 3 flavors now and they're all great. The size, the taste, and lastly the texture are all things I want to find in a bar. Not to soft, but also not laffy taffy.... the size is around the same size as a quest bar...maybe a tad smaller and taste is on point with what it should taste like ie you know its coconut without it tasting overpowering or vice versa with peanut butter or mint. Also you can pick some of these guys up at Costco too!

I love this brand of bar and have ordered int he past with great success. When I placed this order it took a long time to arrive and once it was delivered the bars were chalky looking, as if they got too hot or were old - they tasted a bit off. I also noticed that, as usual, this company raised their price right afterward so no real savings ordering from them. Recommend you go directly to Stabilyze.com to order to ensure you receive great customer service and that the bars you receive are in the freshest form possible.

I have re-ordered these several times in this flavor. I' ve tried over a dozen brands already. This is best per ingredients list, tastes chewy, not dry and I love the dark chocolate. You can buy the bars at Costco but usually only the mint flavor. I've tried all flavors, by ordering the mixed box here on Amazon. I suggest you try it too. I'd give it 5 stars if it had more grams of protein per bar. It's nearly perfect.

I bought them before at Costco, but they don't offer them now, so I found them on Amazon. They're really good and they do hold you over till lunch or dinner. They're even good for dessert. I don't think they're a diet bar, but the ingredients seem to be quality without alot of junk.
