The Essential Rory Gallagher: Acoustic

I’m a huge Rory Gallagher fan and this collection of his acoustic stufff really hits the spot . Great collection buy it.

All your favourite Rory acoustic songs, strangely though with the exception of 'Out On The Western Plain' which I thought may have been because of a copyright issue but no, you can dowmload it (for a fee) Also includes Mandolin ( Home Town) and several for a resonator, if I buy either of those my wife will definately divorce me but can get a passable Mandolin sound from a retuned Ukulele, the resonator will have to wait but would recommend the book.

Rory g is not easy to follow he uses different tuning but it did have all the cords to follow and the songs were great

Good transcriptions of Rory's acoustic songs.Not easy to play as you can imagine.Contains some 18 songs .Among them: 20/20 vision - I'll admit you'r gone - Going to my hometown- Dond't know where I'm going- I'm not awake yet-Just the smile - Banker's blues ...Many in open tuning.

Excellent transcriptions, if your into Rory's music this book helps...

I don't know which versions of these songs were transcribed from, but they bear no resemblance to the Rory Gallagher tracks I have. A total waste of time. Go on youtube and get the lessons from there instead.
