UPDATE: as promised this is an update to my review after using the hair removal device. I have now used this for 6 weeks (once a week) on my legs and I have noticed a massive difference, which is why I'm writing this review update a few weeks sooner that planned. The hair regrowth on my legs has reduced massively, I now only have a couple of spots which are still growing as 'normal'. The patches which are still growing are around a couple of small freckles I have on my legs (wasn't sure if I could laser over them so I just haven't). I can now go without shaving for well over a week and I just shave the little areas where I still get regrowth.I highly recommend this product because I think that in time the results will be comparable to the areas I have had professionally lasered!! Can't wait to be able to totally ditch the razor, woohoo!********I've only used this once, so will caveat my review with not knowing if it works long term (I'll update this review in 8-12 weeks!). I have had laser hair removal at a salon on my bikini area & underarms but it would be very expensive to have my legs done there so thought I'd see if this works!Seems easy to use, comfortable to hold and the instructions seem clear. It includes glasses but the instructions don't state whether you need to wear the glasses but the flash is VERY bright even though the device is fully pressed against the skin! To the point that it would be hard to use this while watching TV with someone else in the room because it is pretty uncomfortable for them.As with other reviews I noticed it gets very very hot against the skin, on setting 4 I had to take a break every 8 or so flashes otherwise it felt like it was burning my skin (different sensation to the short sharp feeling when the laser gets a hair).Having had laser hair removal done professionally on other areas in the past I was expecting it to be just as painful as that (salon felt like an elastic band flicking the skin), but it isn't which makes me wonder if it is actually going to be that effective at reducing hair growth. Most of the time I couldn't feel anything at all when it flashed.It is very slow to do a whole leg-several seconds between each flash and no way of speeding it up!I recommend using a white eyeliner pencil (must be white!!!) to draw sections onto the body part you're doing, as it helps to keep track of the areas you've done during your session.

Good device and my hair on arms is starting to thin out. So far I have not noticed any change on my face but will keep trying.Also, device gets hot and could burn when using for too long... turn off for a few mins to cool then continue

Been using this for exactly 8 weeks now, which is roughly the amount of time you should use it for to get real results (between 8-12 weeks).I have been using it every 2-3 days as directed. Started on the lowest level the first use, second use dialed up to 2, then 3, then I jumped to 5 for every area.I've been using it for my lower legs (knees and under) and armpits. I can honestly say my legs barely grow any hair at all anymore and have been very smooth since about week 4. When I say "barely any hair" I mean I have noticed maybe 4 individual hairs on one of my legs before shaving for the next round of light. They feel incredibly smooth. There's some very light very fine hair on parts of it that is very difficult to notice and likely won't be removed by the IPL (but it's really not necessary).My armpits have been slower to respond. Up until about a week ago (so after around 7 weeks of treatments every 2-3 days), there was definitely a reduction in hair but there was still a very noticeable chunk growing in the middle parts of both armpits. A little odd considering that my hair there is very dark (light skin) and the hair on my legs is more of a dark blond/light brown. After 8 weeks, there are some stray hairs that are visible left, but most of the armpits appear to be staying hair-free now. Will continue until it's all gone as it does appear to be getting less and less, so it's definitely working.As for the amount of flashes, it will be more than enough. I have around 48,000 flashes left and most of the areas I wanted treated are finished. Should be more worried about the whole machine breaking down than a replacement bulb.As for ease of use, the machine works great most of the time. I've had the occasional issue pressing the button and the area of the bulb is a lot smaller than the plastic area of the front, making it difficult to line it up correctly sometimes. Overall, not a big deal.Be sure to clean the areas you want to treat beforehand. I've left some deodorant on my armpits before using at some point and the plastic around the bulb has started to melt. It still works, but it's not pretty.I got this at 70 pounds during Black Friday/Cyber Monday or something like that. At that price, I wouldn't even think about it. Just get it. Be advised that it IS a time investment, however. To do all areas properly, for me it takes about an hour for every session. I do scroll through my phone while doing it, so I'm not at the most efficient, but you should assume 40-60 minutes for both lower legs and armpits (and that's for only going over the legs once, armpits twice. Recommended is treating every area 1-2 times per session).

This product does not work, at least it hasn’t for me anyway. I would like to get my money back on the 100 day money back guarantee but can’t work out how to do that. The product has not slowed my hair growth down at all and I’ve been using it for 10 weeks (it’s meant to work in the first 8). My hair still grows back within a day. I’ve used it exactly as the instructions say and it hasn’t worked. Please can the seller contact me in regards to the 100 day money back guarantee because I really am not happy with this product and have not seen any results
