I really liked the value of the package. You get the dive housing plus the filters you would need for underwater diving in various conditions. The quality seems good, and I haven't had any issues with it on any of my dives. The lens filters are easy to mount and tie down so you don't lose them with the included tassels.

Just got back from 12 days on Maui, used this almost daily. Rinsed off the salt water every day after use. If you are going to use the GoPro 7 for snorkeling or mild diving, you absolutely have to have this or another filter system. The video and photos you take will suck without it due to the way light is filtered underwater. I thought this item was well made and extremely useful. I saw some mild rusting near the hinge but just a little. Might not hold up for daily ocean use for very long, but I live in Oregon and have no need to snorkel here because it's freezing andv sharks and all! I recommend the product, especially if you are going on a vacation and want to make the best use of your GoPro.

Unfortunately for me, this casing didn't work as I'd hoped. After about 20 minutes in the water, the case would start fogging up within the lens area. After getting back to my room and downloading the files, it was obvious that the fogging had been captured in the video and it obscured all the edging of the viewing.The first time it happened, I was disappointed but unconcerned since the pack came with defogging inserts. However, after placing two inserts on either side of my GoPro, the casing still fogged up. On my third swim, I switched out the inserts for two "new" ones and it still failed to prevent fogging.PROS:Waterproof worked great, my camera stayed completely dry at all times inside the casingI only used one of the filters during my vacation but it worked perfectly, adding back some lost richnessPrice was excellent since the casing & filter(s) did their jobCONS:Fogged up quicklyDefogging inserts didn't do the job they were designed for, ruining the videoMy plan is to buy some quality inserts and try this again. I am hoping the supplied inserts were the culprit and using a different brand will solve the fogging issue. If that is the case, I will come back and update my review with a more positive rating. As it stands, I don't think it matters if the rest of the product was excellent. If the final product results in ruined video, then it didn't do its job.

tested in the pool. Diving next week. After reading reviews, i realized this device might work better with a little silicon ointment or grease. I happened to have some, and will be applying a very light layer to the O ring to try to help waterproofing. Also, if you are using while diving remember to keep the camera in the bucket of water most dive boats have for cameras so they can acclimate to the water temperature and avoid fogging.Update- call me a 5 star. Two dives to 60 for 50 yesterday. The fog inserts worked great. I used the dark red for the first dive to 60 for 50 and the colors were very good. I switched to the magenta, and not so much. So in my single test their suggestions were correct. Just fyi I had my qik button on video and my power on button on burst jpeg. Worked for me. Also I think the silicon grease kept the waterproof o ring tight. You can use a toothpick to apply especially near the hinge.

Took this product to a beach vacation with a lot of underwater activities. Used with a GoPro Hero 7 Black. The housing worked great. Easy to open and close, water tight to about 10 feet (that the deepest I dove). Used this product about 8 times during the trip. Did rinse and dry with fresh water after each use. Materials were of good quality. Took underwater photos and videos with and without the light pink filter—-did not make a big difference in color in shallow (<15 feet) water when using a GoProHero 7 with normal video settings: 1040p and 60fps. Video and pictures came out great in and out of water. Note that you cannot control the GoPro with the rear touch screen with the housing, but the buttons worked great, and kept the GoPro dry. For the money, an excellent product.

I've used this housing on my GoPro Hero 7 Black for 20+ dives at depths up to 90ft over the last 6 months. The housing has held up without issues so far. There is no moisture or fogging inside the case, meaning the GoPro is kept dry and safe. The filter also work well - I've mostly used the dark red filter for deep salt water and it helped bring some color back. For depths exceeding 50 or 60ft I'd recommend a dive light though as the filter can only correct so much. Attaching the filters is fairly easy; I found it's best to do it underwater as that prevents air bubbles forming between the case and the filter.

Dropped my gopro underwater without it attached and it dropped about 40 feet onto rocks, I was able to retrieve it with minimal scratches, and no water leakage. I'd say it performed as expected. The water color corrections and moisture pads are an added bonus I'd say, but water tends to build up between the case and color corrections sometimes skewing your videos so be warned, it might be best to try to attack the corrections underwater already so you dont have water and air pockets messing up your pictures and videos.
