Durable and great for heated yoga practice
I received one of these towels as a gift over 10 years ago, and even after a decade of hot/heated yoga, sweating, washings, getting crumpled up in the bottom of my bag, etc., it still pretty much looks & feels the same as the day I got it. When I started going to practice again regularly, I realized I needed two mat towels if I didn't want to be doing laundry every other day, so I decided to purchase this one again. The new towel feels pretty much identical to my old one, and is holding up just as well so far. It's also the exact right size for my mat. It's a little slipperier than I'd like when dry, but I think that's probably true of mat towels everywhere, and spraying or sprinkling water on it before practice helps add traction until the sweating kicks in. It also dries off quite quickly after practice. It's more expensive compared to some other options, but if I don't have to buy a replacement for another 10 years, then it's absolutely worth the investment. Love when things are made to last!

Not perfect but pretty great
I really like this towel! Is it perfect? No, but I didn’t want to dish out any more money than this. This towel is good quality and feels like it will last for a long time.Pros:- it’s super soft! I enjoy having this even for classes where I won’t be sweating.- it doesn’t trap odors- I use this for barre and it definitely works to stop my hands from slipping during planks, etc.- I don’t have many issues with it not staying in place on my mat.Cons:- you can’t just throw it in the washer with your other clothes. be prepared to hand wash this—a lot of dye comes out in the water, though not enough to stain your hands or sink. I haven’t noticed this affect the color of the towel itself either.- it could be even more grippy. I don’t have issues slipping on my bare hands/feet, but wearing leggings or longer sleeves can cause my knees and elbows to slip around a little bit on the fabric.- I wish it came in more colors! I got a beautiful teal Manduka mat that now gets covered up all the time by my dark blue towel :( the towel is a nice color too but I really wish they made them to match the mat colors

Perfect Towel!
I have tried a number of towels. This is the last one I purchased. I wish I had bought this first! I tried multiple Yogitoes towels, which are great, but the price is not. This towel works just as good if not better. Sprits a little water on your mat, lay out the towel, and everything stays in place. Very absorbent. Comfortable. Excellent grip. A towel worth the price!

Quality non-slip towel
The towel was slightly longer than the standard mandala hot yoga studio mat, but still good size.As indicated I wet the mat prior to start and the towel was immediately grippy. However Im someone who generates heat and I can't stand a towel that holds heat or adds heat. This microfiber was not as terrible as others but could be less heat holding. Overall if you want absorbing and nonslip this works great.

This towel couldn't be any better!
I teach Yin yoga, and I attend a lot of Vinyasa classes. I don't sweat profusely in my Vinyasa classes, but it's enough that my hands and feet start to slide in certain positions like down dog. This towel is amazing! It keeps me in position even though I'm not sweating a lot. Based on some of the reviews, I'd been concerned that it wouldn't work unless I was super sweaty, but this hasn't been the case. It doesn't bunch up on me, and it really helps with the slipping. I actually keep it on my mat during my Yin classes, because I love the way it feels. It's a few inches longer than my Gaiam mat, and that's great since it gives me a little bit more room to stretch out but still keep my hair from touching the floor. It seems to keep the mat cooler and more comfortable. I had looked into getting one of the Manduka nonskid mats but didn't want to spend the money (also tried one out at my studio and didn't like the feel of it). I'm so glad I went with this instead! It's hands-down one of the best yoga purchases I've ever made in my 25+ years of practicing. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Super grippy - like it better than the ones with the rubber dots
This mat stays put without the grippy dots on the back. Very soft and absorbent. My favorite kind now.

Best towel I own!!
I ordered this to go over my Manduka Eko mat. I spritz a little water over the top and bottom where my feet and hands are going to be during practice right before getting started, which helps the grip until the sweat kicks in. I have to say the grip on this towel is AMAZING!! I have probably 10 towels in different brands including a yogitoes and this towel is by far my favorite. It’s a bit more expensive than the standard microfiber towel but if I’d known how well it was going to work I would’ve ordered 3-4 of these instead of wasting my money trying more of the inexpensive towels. This is the only towel that I have used that truly grips to my mat and DOES NOT MOVE at all or bunch up during practice. I never have to stop to readjust it. I immediately ordered another one in a different color and will alternate these 2 until I can buy a few more, as I practice 7 days a week and don’t like having to wash towels every other day. I actually bought both of mine used off of amazon and they were brand new but just not in original Manduka packaging which dropped the price from $35-40 to $20-22 each. I will continue to check for more colors in used condition for the price savings, but after using I would say it’s worth full price easily! If you’re on the fence between this and a towel with rubber grippings on the bottom, I promise this towel is so much better! Would recommend to any yogi.
