Hobbs 20/20 can be preshrunk.
I almost always use Hobbs 20/20 batting in my quilts. I pre wash the fabrics used, and preshrink this batting. The finished quilt can then be safely washed by the recipient .

Hobbs 80/20 — This is an excellent batting to use for hand quilted projects.
I have used only this batting for decades. It needles beautifully, stays flat, and shrinks nicely when the finished quilt is laundered, giving the quilt that puffy,wrinkly look that one wants in a hand made quilt. I use nothing else.
