I don't usually leave a review but was pleasantly surprised by these lovely dresses. They were very inexpensive and will make the perfect Christmas gift. They are very detailed with embroidery satan and lace. I have not tried them on the Barbie yet so hope they fit. I bought an inexpensive Barbie and now she has a complete wardrobe. There were a few things to keep in mind. Yes I did have to clip the threads There are some frayed edges that should be singed or serged and some of the lace was cut a bit uneven But these are lovely doll dresses and made with nice materials.I did take just a minute to iron them so they would look their best on medium to low settingThey deserve it Please see attached photos The dresses sent are random.I think my little one will be pleased with her Barbie princess dresses I know I am The dresses were less than 10 on sale and I bought an inexpensive Barbie spent around 20 for a special Christmas present Dresses are lovely

My daughter loves Barbie and just loved these dresses.

I was blown away by the quality. The pictures had me hopeful, but wow! Each dress was individually packaged in a plastic bag and came packaged together and bundled with a few other orders. As soon as I opened the first one my daughter squealed and ran to grab her Barbies. She wanted me to dress each one and then surprise her with each dress. HA! good grief, dramatic much? But so cute! Her eyes were bright with excitement. LOVED IT! I was just as excited.We received:One light pink strapless dress with a white tulle overlay with white and light pink applique.One light blue/teal strap dress with beige/tan lace and light blue/teal tulle overlay.One red strapless dress with red tulle overlay and gold applique.One royal blue strapless dress with white lace overlayand One White dress with sewn material in a pattern on white tulle with sequins overlay.My daughter was SO happy with the quality, the look, the feel, and the fit of the dresses. I loved the details. They are very girly, very blingy dresses. TONS of material in the skirts! The "apron" like overlays drap over the full front skirt and it sort of drapes backward to the back. The white dress was especially full skirted and the stiff under skirt helped it stand out. It's truly a wedding dress! We were so inspired by this dress that we found some old dress up clothes that didn't fit, a princess costume. I use a seam ripper to get the white tulle petticoat off the under skirt then used it and ribbon off the front of the dress to make a veil, and then a flower décor off the dress to make a bouquet. It was perfect, and my daughter had the perfect colorful brides maid dresses right along with it. we had SO much fun dressing these dolls up!I will absolutely be ordering more of these dresses!!Colors were VIBRANT!

These dresses are constructed with beautiful fancy fabric. I believe satin is used for the basic dress which is then overlain with lace. The satin has a high luster and is matched well with the decorative lace overlay. In our order we received 5 different colors--Red, Pink, Yellow, Blue and White (with pink and red rosebuds embroidered into the lace overlay). For less than $2 per dress I was very pleased. However please read on!Why did I not give 5 stars for such lovely dresses?1. 3 of the 5 dresses did not fit the Barbie doll--too tight at the top to be able to close the hook & loop tape.2. None of the seams were "finished"--that means the raw fabric in the seam allowance ravels. Satin fabric ravels A LOT so not only will you have a bunch of tiny filament like threads coming off all the time but eventually the seams will come apart.For me, the above problems were reasonably easily solved. I ran over all the seams with my serger to finish them and keep them from raveling and turned up a very narrow hem at the bottom to encase the raw edge and re-stitched them. I also removed one side of the hook & loop closure, increased the bodice size and reattached the closure.If you are buying these dresses mostly for displaying the Barbie rather than playing with it, they are beautiful. If you want the dresses to be able to be taken on and off repeatedly, you need to fix them or plan on throwing them away without too much use (that is if they fit in the first place). You might be able to keep the seams from raveling with a product like "Fray Check" but it is important to only apply it to the seam allowance as it will make a big "wet" looking spot on satin fabricIf you sew, or know someone who will do it for you, these are great dresses. If not, these dresses might be a big disappointment.

Barbie dolls

It’s too bad a No Star rating isn’t available.Very upset. The pictures are beautiful. What arrived is bunched up, wrinkled, poorly made, loose ends everywhere, Velcro closures falling off and the lace is only on one side of the dress and in 3 out of 5 dresses, placed poorly. The bodices are plain and ugly.I bought these to help me, time-wise, to bolster up the clothes I’m already making for my grandaughters Christmas gift, since I make most of the gifts my husband and I give to everyone, and we wanted to give her a big selection of Barbie clothes aside from what I am making for her myself.As it turns out, I will need to redesign and remake every single one of these dresses as well as shore up the bad seams and Velcro attachments.Don’t waste your money unless you want the dresses to fall apart the first time a child handles them - and unless you want to teach them that wrinkled, scrappy and unfinished looks nice.

I love these dresses adds to my inventory of clothes for my dolls. Playing is enhanced with such a variety of options. I washed them and air dried and put some softener in wash.
