Replacement for Discontinued Viper 7652V 1 Way Remote Control Transmitter

It loses it's programing right away. I have a Viper 5901 system and it lasts like 5 minutes at most and then the remote stops working and needs to be reprogramed. . The production and packaging information says it is compatible but it does not work well.

The Item comes with a dead battery so you need to change it by sticking a little screw driver in a tiny a lot at the bottom of the "F".Once you get the battery in go into your car and:1. Hold the F on the remote until light turns solid2. Press start button unti light flashes 3 times3. Open drivers door4. Turn ignition to on not start5. Press your valet button once and hold (mine is in the front windshield by the mirror)6. Let go of your valet button and press and hold again (you will hear a chirp)7. Once you hear the chirp press the lock button on the remote and you will hear a chirp. REMOTE IS PAIRED8. Turn off the ignition, close the door, and test the remote.Hope this helps. Mine works fine after this.P.S. Battery is 2032

Had to take to Best buy to have paired with my vehicle, only because of how they previously wired my remote start. It was not detecting the door sensor to allow me to pair it myself. After the tech was able to bypass the wiring, it paired with vehicle with no problem! Has been working great since!

A bit too easily triggered when in pocket and feels cheap. Make it heavier plastic please
