Perfect for hot summer nights
Grabbed a couple of these to help cool down during the day and also help cool the house at night. I normally used the lowest setting as it pushed plenty of air and was quiet. The highest setting was awesome but a bit louder. I had the fan in front of me as I watched a movie at night, the low setting was quiet enough not to disturb my movie and blew enough air to keep us cool. :) Used it for 2 months or so nearly continuously, no problems. At night, I set it by the screen door to pull cool air in and blow hot air out via the windows. Cools the house quickly when on highest setting. Had good experience with the product. Easy to assemble and durable enough to survive shipping.

Great fan!
Great fan that gets used daily! I need a fan to sleep at night and this does the job perfectly. Would also make a good garage fan as well.

Amazing Wall and Floor Fan at a Great Price, Great Amazon Seller
I needed an industrial fan for my tiny NYC apartment with high ceilings. It arrived quickly and well-packaged. I hung it from the wall with a heavy duty ladder/garage hook. Easy to hang and gets it off the limited floor space I have. Great vortex of cool air.

It Works!
The media could not be loaded. It’s a great little High Velocity fan. I didn’t think it was too loud on high. It will move air. It might even change the rotation of the earth if placed with such intent. It’s hard to breathe sitting directly in front of it. It could definitely suck the air out of any room. Low speed is great, quieter, comfortable with steady, strong air flow.Simple sturdy construction, should last a long time. I will edit if condition changes.

It was good while it lasted. Probably a one-off
I have had this fan 23 days. This morning this horable screatching sound started coming from it. Very loud, like maybe the barrings are shot. I took some gun oil and applied it to the fan blade rod, and it helped a little bit. But still sending in for a replacement, which Amazon is taking care of. Thank God for time to make sure it works good before I have no opertunity to return it. This is a good sturdy, high quality fan and worked real good up to this point, but like I said, it's probably a defected motor and not the norm.

It’s a shop fan, so don’t expect quiet
There’s a reason this design has hung around since electric fans were first produced in this country (I wasn’t around then, if that’s what you’re thinking.) I have a two-story townhouse in a warmer region of the US and, as most people know, this summer is putting a bigger strain on AC units. Upper floors in houses are always a challenge to keep cool during summer months. The problem is the warmer air gets pushed upstairs as the dwindling cooler air sinks to the bottom floor. My bright idea was to put this fan at a spot on my stairs that returns more AC cooled air from the first floor to the second floor. I tried other good household fans, but getting the right angle is tough on them and they just don’t have the air-current-creating power this fan does. It did exactly as I hoped it would and has been running virtually non-stop for about a month now. I know I’ll need to stop it to clean it, but the way it’s running, that can wait until the weather is such that I can turn it off.If you don’t like the sound of an old metal box fan on high running constantly, then you’ll hate this in your home. I have tinnitus and need background noise anyway, so no complaints from me about that. I guess if you have a space or shop that you want/need powerful cooling or drying air flow, then it would work equally well, but I can only speak to what I’m using it for, that it works very well and runs like a thoroughbred (so far). Also, name recognition didn’t hurt. Remington is like Gerber, Krupps or Samsung. It’s hard to know everything these companies and many more like them make, and this was one such case for me and it ended up being the deciding factor for me.

It is loud......but VERY powerful....
We needed something that would pull the cold air (we just have a wall unit air conditioner in the living room of our apartment) down the hallway to the 2 bedrooms. This thing is super powerful, commercial grade, and totally sturdy. It's awesome. But it IS loud, especially on the highest setting.

High Power Shop Fans
A bit of light modification and these fans actually fit up to a standard VESA mount and you have a budget articulating arm shop fan! I close to mount them upside down to make for easier access to the speed switch given they are overhead mounted.Bought 2 to replace old Lasko box fans that weren’t keeping me cool any longer, the new fans on low setting are dead quiet and keeping the shop tolerable in the summer heat.
