Superior to the Frisbee in EVERY Way
THE SKINNY:... these are hands down the single greatest frisbees youāll ever find, capable of vastly outperforming the rather lackluster competition in literally EVERY category. Buy It!!EXPANDED REVIEW:I first purchased this on a whim when my buddy and I stumbled across one at REI. Since then, that same friend and I have become the self-appointed ambassadors for the flying discs having not only used them exclusively for the past 15 years, but also having purchased a great many more as either replacements, backups, or most notably, as gifts for others.Hereās why:A. SUPERIORITY OF FLIGHT...these things fly FAST, STRAIGHT, and FAR ā they literally launch! We were recently at my schoolās football field (high school teacher) just aimlessly throwing the frisbee when we decided weād take advantage of the fact we had an easy way of measuring the distances thrown.Because of the overall thinness of the frisbee itās incredibly easy to both grip tightly and flick/snap your wrist whilst keeping the frisbee perfectly level. When throwing a traditional plastic frisbee, it tends to be less about the fingers and hand than the wrist and arm, simply bc theyāre too bulky and fat (thick) to really exert any notable control with your fingers and styles of grip. And because of the rubber grip around the edge, you have immense grip with your fingertips allowing you to also exert a significant amount of spin, which ultimately translates to greater wind resistance and therefore greater distance. While 20-30 yard throws would be considered a sort of average throw, weāre both getting throws as far as 40 yards... even 45, though accuracy starts to drop.B. SUPERIORITY OF CATCH... while throwing this frisbee disc is significantly more enjoyable than your typical hard-plastic frisbee, an even greater difference is found in catching it. Because of both itās thin size AND rubber edge, this frisbee is MUCH easier to catch. Gone are the days of lightly-bruised or sore palms, jammed fingers, or simply any sort of pain thatās fairly typical of regular frisbees ā the rubber edge... sounds pretty basic, but that was some ingenious thinking. You can muster some pretty impressive, physics-defying catches not only bc of how easy and grippy it is, but also bc of the way this frisbee āarrivesā at itās destination. The high level of spin results in much loftier throws, so much so that if youāre a more capable thrower, you can generate enough spin and lift that the frisbee will actually climb, rather than drop, as it approaches the target. Pretty cool.C. SUPERIORITY AT BOTH ENDS OF THE SPECTRUM:... within the past 2 weeks Iāve thrown this frisbee around with your calculus-loving, ultimate frisbee-playing nerds and my never-thrown-a-frisbee nieces of 4 and 7. The flying disc make converts of the initially-skeptical āultimateā kids who boasted claims of inferiority and purity (up until they quickly appreciated the superiority of design and engineering). And for the little ones, despite their relatively small hands and their total inexperience, both managed to pick it up with relative ease, the 7 year-old managing to throw it roughly 12-16 yards AND on-target for roughly half her throws. Neither is anyway near that capable on a traditional frisbee.Unless tradition somehow restricts you to continue using inferior products, accept the substantially evolved flying disc and leave the frisbee in the past where it belongs.

Doggie Love!!
This is the best dog frisbee ever! No knocked out teeth or bleeding lips and gums from impact. The tennis balls wore my heeler's teeth down pretty bad, his k9's are halfway down at 6yrs old to the point I can see the centers of the teeth. They don't get too slobbery too fast either like some of the smooth rubber type balls do.Durability is pretty good for something being used as it was never intended. We go through at least 1 every 2 months. This is the main toy for several hours a day. The frisbee soon becomes taco shaped from the dog teeth impacting and stretching the center while the outer ring maintains its original shape. My dog loves the taco shape because it is easier to pick up than a flat disc on the ground. And it still flies plenty far for him to enjoy, maybe 20 yards or so. I could never throw a frisbee or catch it before, but this 1 makes it easy for a novice. Maybe too heavy for a pro.The rubber edge has a little bit of a lip on it. 1 of my other dogs chewed it completely off. All except the lip being gone, the edge was still pefect. 1 hard landing cracked a brand new frisbee in half, but it still flew and we still got our use out of it! These stay outside all the time, inland southern Ca. With the summer sun and and winter frost. No noticeable difference since they are a consumable item for us. The occasional tug-o-war takes place but I put it to a stop and don't recommend it.We play with these until the center is so broken out it becomes a hazard. Sometimes if $ is tight I even tape the splits so they can't go around my dogs muzzle and get stuck. Even then they still last a couple more weeks! Since I don't pay for prime and we go through these often, I use them to add to my cart to qualify for free shipping on other items. It would probably last longer for someone who doesn't have an obsessive working dog that needs to be going all the time. The only thing that stops him is the heat or heavy rain. Not all dogs like all toys. They have personal likes and dislikes. Only my heeler is crazy about this. And ALL dog toys need to have supervised play for safety reasons. My lab mix wants to gut everything she comes in contact with. All 3 of my dogs are rescues. PLEASE spay or neuter your pets and contact your local shelter before hitting up the pet store! You won't regret it or this purchase. I will definitely buy this over and over again until my companion is no longer able to enjoy. Never had any problem with the seller.
