Easy to assemble, comfortable, should last through a few winters if left out of doors
Easy to assemble and the price was right! I was not planning to assemble the two I purchased as its still winter in Minnesota and I can't put them outside. Unfortunately one of the two came in a mangled box. Happily nothing was missing or damaged. And it smelled like cedar, so I was pleased. All wooden parts were sanded smooth. Assembled in 25 minutes as advertised, though the instructions were not entirely clear as to which screws went where, the next one will take 15 minutes now that I have the knack. (An electric screw driver would be a handy item.) The chair is comfortable, easy to move around as it's only about 20 pounds, attractive and symmetrical sitting evenly on my kitchen floor where I put it together. I would love not to stain or lacquer it, but cedar will turn an ugly gray sooner or later when left out through the winter. And its real wood, not factory made wood or plastic. I hope it was from a sustainable forest source, but owing to its country of production, who knows?

I DON’T WANT TO GET UP.
Oh. Wow. Oh. Wow. I LOVE everything about this chair. I crave, crave, crave comfort—especially when lounging with Husband in our backyard oasis, sipping margaritas, and watching dogs romping wildly through the grass. One of the things that sold me in the first place is that we are kind of lazy when it comes to maintaining outdoor furniture, so the idea of having a gorgeous, vibrant green, comfortable lounge chair that won’t readily fade or fall apart was super enticing. These chairs do not disappoint, and are just as described. I’ve had Adirondack chairs before. Some were okay but not as nicely shaped, some were difficult to get out of. (We are not spring chickens). None have compared to these when it comes to fit, comfort, stability and styling.I am 5’4” and the husband is 6’ tall, yet we agree that these chairs fit each of us like a glove. Bonus: They are sturdy and compact, not at all bulky.Fun fact: i spilled a drink on the arm this morning; the liquid beaded and was super easy to wipe off in a flash. I.e. no absorption, no staining. Yay.I’m actually writing this review from my chair right now. I don’t want to get up. Husband, please bring me a margarita! It’s 5:00 somewhere.

Light weight and can be easy to assemble
I just bought a third chair. The first 2 in 2018. They needed some finagling. The screw holes weren’t deep enough on one chair. These chairs have held up greatThis 2023 chair was a little dinged upon arrival but I sand them well so it wasn’t a big deal.I recommend using a paint sprayer if you plan to paint them and it’s easier to prime and paint before assembly so you can catch the runs easier

It's kitty cat approved!
Chair came in a partially assembled state making it pretty easy to finish, even if you're a dude who refuses to use instructions. Seems pretty sturdy once assembled even though it is a relatively soft cedar.Back has a nice curve as well as the seat. Plenty of room for wide hips in the seat, as well as large flat arms for drinks and cups, or the occasional kitty butt. It's far from the best Adirondack chair on the market, but its the best <100$ Adirondack chair on the market!

Very nice chairs, very nice price, easy to assemble
After reading some of the reviews, all I can figure is that some people have 10 thumbs. These chairs were so easy to put together I couldn't believe it was the same chair I'd seen reviewed. No, they're not made of mahogany or teak or oak--it's a soft cedar-type wood and it's not going to take a beating, but for the price they're extremely nice. I bought two of them and the left hand arm support on both of them had a chunk gouged out of the center--I'm thinking a machine problem--which was easily fixed with an orbital sander (much easier than fooling with getting a replacement). That was the only problem I saw in them. In fact, I'm buying two more today before the price goes up or they quit making them. After a little weathering, these are going to get some primer and a few coats of a good outdoor enamel and they should do very well for normal sized people. What I intend to do is use the pattern to make a copy of one of these out of pressure-treated pine--but a little bit wider for me!!

Not exactly what was promised
After much research, we purchased multiples of this chair for an outdoor patio. The pictures and description of "cedar wood" and "hydro tek" finish that resists water peeling cracking scratches etc. along with a midrange price led to our decision to go with this chair. It is used outdoors in West Texas. Plenty of sun, and little rain. Upon opening the box, I was sceptical as the wood felt very light. The finish was the perfect lime green we ordered to match our cornhole boards. I decided to hope for the best even with the flimsy wood feel, thinking it would possibly sturdy up after it was put together. It was better after EACH AND EVERY board was installed, but within one week the color had faded to turquoise!(pics) It was acceptable since we have blue in our building. The Hydro tek finish started peeling within a month. Maybe these would be okay for light use if purchase dwithout a finish and done yourself. I am looking for an option to replace these after 6 months and thought I would share my experience.

Low grade asian cedar
I bought 2. Both have significantly more knots than what their pictures show. 1 chair had so many issuers, fine cracks/ missing knots, that i sent it back for replacement since the company did not respond to support request. I assembled the 2nd chair and it was straightforward but you need to leave all bolts loose until you get everything aligned then tighten all bolts. The replacement chair arrived and also had a lot of knots but no splits. This chair had significant alignment issues with both front legs. I have the chair put together but i either have to accept that the arm support will never sit square or i have to redrill the leg bolt holes on both sides. Very poor qc issues on top of low quality wood and zero response from the company. Other than that it's a cheap alternative to quality made adirondack chairs made by US craftsmen.

Inconsistency in quality
I purchased two of these chairs (placed in the same order). The first one is ok quality. It did have one gash in the back and a split in the wood towards the bottom of the chair. I stained it, assemble it and it looks fine. Overall happy with that one. I opened the second box and the wood was not sanded as well as the other. There were more splinters in the wood and another gash in the back of the chair in the same spot as the other. This one did not take stain well. There are parts where it will not take that look like drips. Only visible once the stain was applied. I think there is clear glue or something that was very sloppily applied. The chair base and back come pre-assembled. This chair looks pretty bad. Overall, I regret the purchase.

Be ready for some paint/ stain and sanding work.
Be ready to paint it to prolong its condition. Otherwise, it is just like any other of the same kind, nothing special about it as long as you have a cushion.

I`d buy them again.
Arrived on time. Seat and back already assembled, clear simple instructions, pieces marked well, so an easy assembly with nothing more than Phillips screwdriver. Decided to leave mine untreated because I love the colour of the bare wood, and because through a little research, I found the experts about evenly split on the need to treat cedar. Very comfortable with our chair pads and they seem to be weathering well. But if you`re six feet or taller, I think you`ll find them a bit low.
