Kitchen Eze Stainless Steel Swivel Vegetable Peeler

I love this peeler! I know...a bit strong for a kitchen utensil...right? But, really...I really love this peeler. Prior to ordering this one, I had used the same vegetable peeler for the last 35 years...I'm the frugal sort. But, I saw this one and thought about how grungy and uncomfortable the angular edge on the handle of my old rusty grocery store peeler was, and decided it was time to treat myself to a new one. I'm SO glad I did...it works great! I was pleasantly surprised to find how much more comfortable the smooth design of the handle felt in my hand...no more red chafe marks on my hands when I peel my turnip! Very sharp blade makes peeling really fast and easy...it takes very little effort or pressure to make short work of whatever I need to peel. The pointed pick feature at the end of the blade is really nice for removing potato "eyes" and for getting easily into crevices. I also really like the sleek design...works really well and is good-looking to boot. I will definitely seek out more products from this vendor. Have already put in an order for another peeler so I can give one to my daughter at her bridal shower...I'm sure her fiance' is going to love it ; ) My only complaint: I didn't order one of these years ago!

This, (I have to say) is the BEST peeler I've ever had, and I think it is fair to say that finally, after 49 years, I can throw the old one out! :) I have always kept it as a back up for the various peelers I've had, and invariably I was forced to go back to it because the "new" ones I got didn't work as good as the "old" one. This time it is different! I'm keeping this one! I really do love my new peeler! Thank you! I especially love that it has a hanging hook on the end of it. I put a pin in my backboard by my sink and hang it up along with my vegetable brush so I don't cut myself on the peeler as it sits in the drawer. The ONLY thing I would like to see is perhaps a cover for the blade for the time it would be in the drawer. But I solved that problem perfectly by hanging it near where I would use it most. If you need a new vegetable peeler, I highly recommend this one. I even used some of the suggestions they had on line about using it to peel slivers of vegetables for a salad. This thing is a keeper, let me tell you that.

Love it, like the peeler my parents had only sturdier. I had an oxo grip peeler for almost 20 years and was very impressed with it, it broke, I bought another oxo peeler, it broke within 6 months. I bought another oxo and it broke in three months, perhaps they are no longer made like the original. So I wanted a peeler that is comfortable in left or right hand, one that allows for quick peeling, and one that is easy to clean, and will last a significant amount of time. This peeler is like the classic peeler my folks still have 40 years and going strong, only this one has a nicer handle and seems more sound. Easy to clean, quick peeling, great in either hand (lefties and righties in house), little loop for hanging....exactly what we wanted.

I waited to buy a turnip to peal before making a comment on my new toy. Yesterday I peeled a turnip fairly well to my surprise. A potato did very well, anything else should be easy. I threw out 2 of my other peelers after seeing how well this one did. And it has a very good eye remover for the potatoes. This is a keeper, and it's comfortable to handle while peeling. Try it,you'll like it !!

I got this peeler a week ago. I love it! it is very lightweight, but sturdy at the same time. I do a lot of cooking, and other peelers tend to get 'clogged' when you are trying to peel something fast--as I usually am--and this one doesn't! I is a really sleek, different design, and I like how sharp it is combined with the quality of the blade guard--really can't cut yourself accidentally. Great peeler!

The peeler arrived this afternoon, and I used it for dinner preparation tonight. First I peeled potatoes and found it to be very sharp and smooth. Then I zested an orange, and to my delight, the peeler removed only the zest, not the pith, and it did the job easily and quickly. Finally I made some lovely long strips of cheese to complete a salad.Because of its cover over the blade, I had no concern about peeling my finger as I have done using other peelers.I will recommend it without reservation to my friends and family.

I don't see what all the hype is about. This is just a potato peeler with large grip and gouging tool at the end for those Brown spots on the potatoes that are bruised and funny tasting. I've seen similar designed ones at discount stores for about the same $5-7 range. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just not revolutionary as it seems to imply. But totally a four star item.

This is absolutely the best peeler I have ever used. It is easy to hold and peels effortlessly! The sharp blades and pivoting head made peeling vegetables fun, quick and easy. The stainless finish has a professional grade look and was easy to clean. Great value for the price!
