Works great
I added a little piece of clear plastic channel I had laying around and it prevents the hinges from folding up and improves overall rigidity greatly, negating the need to be on a level surface. Actually cut 2 in hopes that I get to use the whole ruler.

Very large, but very good.
The ruler is exactly what I ordered, though actually it might be too much of what I ordered. It folds up but is still a bit too large to fit into a standard tackle box. I'll have to slip it into a bucket with a cast net or other gear. Other than that, the markings are clear and it seems quite sturdy for a plastic large folding rule.

Seems decent for the price
So I am a bit confused by some of the other reviews here. I don't think it was the brightest individuals leaving them. You can easily fold this in an orientation where you only use the first panel to quickly bump a fish without needing to open the whole thing. Takes just a few seconds to figure this out by changing the folded orientation it comes shipped in. So you don't have to unfold a 60 inch board, you can fold it as pictured and just use the first 20.My biggest complaint so far is that the stop bump panel that flips up on mine was incredibly stiff. Not sure if this is normal, but I felt like I was going to break it folding this into the upright position. I ended up taking a razor and shaving down the front edge of the plastic a bit to avoid snapping this off. Going to give it four stars for now just because it's one of the cheaper boards and I think it will suit my needs.

It's a Ruler, it's big
I bought this for that state record fish that I haven't caught yet. :(This thing feels like you could probably break it on the hinges if you wanted to but it's plenty sturdy enough. It folds up nicely and fits in the storage boxes on the boat. Unless you have a super large tackle box it's not going to fit there.

Fish on
How I can catch a fish so big it takes all 60"

Compact
It is ok. A little flimsy but folds nicely. I think it is good for measurement within 1/4" because there is a little play between the joints.

Rapala does it again!
I am an avid Rapala lure fan; so, yes, maybe I'm a little biased. But I have bought Rapala stainless scissors and they are by far the best I've ever bought and I bought many brands. So, I thought I would try their fish measuring stick. What a great purchase! It is very sturdy and fits neatly in my flats boat out of the way. it has a great little flap on the end at zero inches so that you can snug the fish's nose right up to the zero point. That's a great feature that I've seen on no other measuring stick that is foldable. Some of the fish in our area like sea trout and redfish have a lower slot limit of less than 20 in so I won't even need to open it up to measure them. I'm a catch a release person but sometimes I have a friend with me who might want to eat a fish and so I need to measure it. Spend the extra couple of bucks you'll be happy you did.

Rapala folding ruler
Really enjoying this. Purchased it for a small friendly tournament I decided to participate in. I have almost nothing bad to say about this other than it’s a little hard to store in my back pack (Jansport). But if you carry it around somewhere else or in an actual tackle bag, you probably won’t have this problem.

Great product
Good product...works well. Folds and fits in the glove box in my boat. Like that the number are large so they show up in pictures I take of the fish on the ruler.
