This is my 3rd purchase of this dice box. My adult son was engrossed putting it together last year and my daughters wanted to have a go. It's well made, some parts are small and often fragile, needs patience and some perseverance but is impressive once done. I would suggest this is not for young children even with help.

Made for a great Christmas present for my brother, he seemed to enjoy putting it together, it was easy enough not to be frustrating but also challenging enough to be interesting and fun. The finished product looks great, just how it does in the pics. Also comes with a little number counter thing that my brother seemed very pleased with too :D

Took me about an hour and a half to put together which was more joy than frustration. The pieces are a good size and not too small and fiddly. Practically its really useful for my cards with the added bonus of it being great to look at. There are one or two spares in the box which is useful. Only negative is the latch feels very brittle so I will permanently be helping it in the open position to avoid damage.

For those who, like me, are not fans of Magic the Gathering and other CCGs, yes, this product will comfortably and neatly fit two decks of ordinary playing cards, perfect for poker evenings.Pros: The kit is well-made and the instructions, despite having very few written words, are very clear - they reminded me of Lego instructions. Once complete, the kit operates smoothly and with a satisfying action. Push down on the top handles and the box opens and clicks into place. Press the switch at the bottom and it springs closed again. I was also pleased to find a small square of p120 sandpaper and candle wax (for greasing the moving parts) was included in the box, along with a cute little 'life counter' thing.Cons: removing pieces from the sheets can be fiddly and unnerving. One or two of the more delicate pieces fractured slightly, but not enough to mar the appearance of the final box. Assembling the model is also quite tricky in places, with the most difficult part being working out where on each component you can safely apply enough pressure to snap the part into place without just plain snapping the part. My advice: take it slowly, study it carefully and be ready to wiggle things when they don't quite fit first time. With patience it will go together. The only other negative point I have to share is that the model is driven by elastic bands, which is fine, but rather than providing elastic bands of the exact size, you get four (one spare) huge elastic bands which have to be knotted to the right size and trimmed. It might also be a bit tricky to disassemble and rebuild the box if these bands snap.Overall:Had a great time building the unit, and it now makes a very attractive and funky accessory for card gaming with. However it requires a modicum of patience to assemble safely.

Useful, assuming you play games like 'Eldritch Horror' which needs numerous decks laid at at the side of the board, and fun to make.Impressed by the quality/precision of the pieces and it makes up nicely. I guess for pure functionality it could be a little more robust but I'm impressed enough to be looking at picking up a couple more of UGears items.

I love this.As a mid thirties man child I loved putting this together even if my fingers did hurt a tad after from applying pressure to small areas to get the parts together.Building was a decent experience. I did it in a night while sat down with a box set to watch.You get a stick of wax and sandpaper with it which I recommend using as it makes building so much easier and quicker.Be careful when popping pieces together as it is easy to pick up the right piece but put it on backwards and not notice until a few steps later when another part will no longer fit.Once assembled it works a dream. Seeing the flaps move as the dice go through is oddly satisfying.The dice can still come flying out sometimes so be careful.Making the tower into the pots is relatively simple. If you don't use it often I can see it being easy to forget how to get it back into a tower.I'm happy over all with my purchase and have used it in a few games since I got it. Sadly since I bought it during lockdown most of my games have been online so I have not been able to use it.Also my 2 kittens have taken a liking to it and keep trying to eat it so I've had to put it out of the way. I bring this up as the flaps have small wooden pieces at the end that can pop off easy so be careful if you have pets or even young children.

I got this as a gift, really good quality but was quite hard to put together so be prepared for a little bit of frustration building it.it fits standard dice

I have some Ugears models, so I was wondering when Ugears introduces new devices for games. Finally, I’ve found this spectacular Card Holder. This is a wooden kit, which you need to assemble first, and after that, it becomes a box for playing cards. Was easy to assemble it. The final result looks great!Now undertake over the next device)

Mon garçon de 8 ans a adoré. Le montage est plus aisé qu'avec d'autres marques de maquette, il y a des pièces de rechange en cas de casse et pour couronner le tout, le rendu est chouette. On a commandé un nouveau modèle pour les prochaines vacances :)

Ein Kartenhalter aus Sperrholz zum selber Bauen. Das kann doch nur schief gehen, oder? Erste Überraschung, die Verpackung, der Kartenhalter war gut verpackt und es war sogar eine kleine Überraschung mit beigelegt. Es sind vier vorgefertigte Holzschablonen in der Verpackung mit einer Aufbauanleitung. Des weiteren hat man die Möglichkeit sich die Montage mittels QR-Code-Scan im Internet als Video anzuschauen. Was nicht nötig ist, weil die Anleitung gut verständlich ist, aber trotzdem positiv zu nennen ist. Die Bauteile sind alle in den Schablonen nummeriert und auch wirklich gut auszulösen. Manche Teile waren sehr klein, dass ich zu anfangs wirklich bedenken hatte, dass diese brechen könnten. Allerdings kam dies nicht ein Mal vor. Mit etwas technischen Verständnis, verlief der Aufbau wirklich schnell und reibungslos. Teilweise muss man Gummis zurecht schneiden, und manche Teile müssen mit dem beigelegten Wachsstift und dem Schleifpapier etwas nachgearbeitet werden. Aber auch dies bekommt man in der Anleitung alles detailliert gezeigt. Der fertige Kartenhalter gefällt mir persönlich wirklich sehr gut. Ich mag die Holzoptik. Und für mich ist auch sehr positiv, dass man gleichzeitig zwei verschiedene Kartengrößen (Standard und Mini-Euro) ablegen kann. Ich verwende Ihn zum Beispiel für das Spiel Robinson Crusoe und das klappt wirklich super.Sicherlich ist die Optik nicht für jeden was, aber ich finde in persönlich sehr ansprechend und allein die verschiedenen Lagermöglichkeiten, machen das wieder weg.Das einzige was mich etwas gestört hat, aber wahrscheinlich nicht besser mechanisch lösbar war, ist der Verschluss, der etwas schwer gängig ist. Da aber ansonsten alles stimmig ist und für mich der Halter auch wirklich gut durchdacht ist und die Entwicklung sicherlich auch nicht so einfach war, kann ich mit diesem kleinen Manko aber sehr gut leben. Zumal die Funktion ja trotzdem gegeben ist.Ich kann deshalb eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen und wer Spaß am Basteln und Mechanik hat, wird hier auch sicher seine Freude haben.

Un puzzle con un efecto móvil precioso e ingenioso. El montaje no es difícil pero al apretar alguna pieza es necesario tener mucho cuidado, partí una pieza por ser poco delicado. El corte de las maderas es muy preciso. Lo recomiendo para adolescentes y adultos.
