Poor printing of screenshots
In a book replete with screenshots, one would think that they'd at least be easily viewable. Instead, these are poorly printed to the extent of being useless in many cases--even the decision to use these with dark backgrounds was imprudent. In a technical reference, this is just unacceptable and is becoming woefully too common among publishers.Screenshots are also too commonly used as filler here.

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS-
Ubuntu Server 18.04 is a solid and robust OS. The Author of this book is well written and well versed. It is strongly advised to understand the workings of Linux and Ubuntu for any and all individuals wishing to see how things operate on the Web. That being said this book is a good place to learn how to administer and protect your Server- Well done again for this Author-

Excellent book for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Server Administrators
I had a ton of questions about this OS, but the book is really good and I am now running the 18.04 Server on 2 systems. I looking to getting a Intel Xeon system and loading Windows 2019 Server and have the two servers OS's work together and access a 20 T NAS. Then use what I have learned at work.

Good reference for experienced admin.
This book is probably great for an experienced linux admin who is just looking for all the new ways of doing things in 18.04. I found the content dwelled a bit much on things used to be done and how the new stuff is different. I found this distracting as I just wanted to know how to do things NOW, so comparing it to old ways wasn't helpful to me as I was never familiar with them in the first place. There is enough to absorb without a history lesson. Issues were glossed over that could have used a bit more explanation, but a determined reader armed with google can fill in the gaps.I'd love to find a book that just explained the basics of admining an 18.04 box as it is now.

Good coverage of security
Concentrated on what you need to know if you are running Ubuntu as a server. Also good for desktop covering security needs.
