Bunny Yeager's Pin-Up Girls of the 1950s

A wonderful look into the world of late (RIP 2014) Bunny Yeager the Photographer of the best 50s and 60s pin-ups, models and stars she photographed. There are many books on or by Bunny on Bunny's style, and how she captured not just the pictures, but the eyes of the beholder looking at them. The poses, the use of props and backgrounds Bunny used to catch and captivate what see saw through the camera eye for a superb image. This is one of those books and I love her imagery in her photos, especially the black and white prints for ideas for tones and shades as aids in drawing the body beautiful that is woman. Whether clothed, in a bikini or as they say in the buff totally naked giving us a glance or via full on body nakedness.People can be prudish about seeing a naked woman in photos, but in past centuries, artists alike whether in oil, watercolour, pencil etc in all there forms are admired by millions even in religious paintings. Photograph is just another medium used, and Bunny Yeager knew what she saw and wanted for a pose from the ladies in front of her camera lenses. A true starlet in her own right as an ex-model herself, then transformed into one of the worlds naturalist photographers of this century.

Very pleased with this book. Nice selection of pin-up girls with the models's name where known. Bettie Page is one of the many pin-up girls in this book. Book was as described by the used book seller.

Got this book for my boyfriend who is a photographer and a big fan of pin-up girls! He loved Bunny Yeager's book since she was one of the best of those times and also because the book has clear, large and colorful pictures of the pin-up girls!

I was looking to get something like this for a friend and I could only find one book at B&N in town. We don't have any other bookstores it seems. After looking around online, this seemed like it would be good. When I got it, I was impressed with the quality, it's not a cheap-looking book and the pictures are good quality as well. My friend really likes the book. Most other books I looked at online, didn't have great descriptions and seemed to not have many pictures, this one did.

A nicely illustrated book of, just as stated, pin-up girls of the 50's. Nice addition to anyone with an interest in 1950's glamour girls and pin-ups.

Bunnys book is awesome... The book goes into detail of her life and the pictures shared are great. Would recommend it to anyone who loves pin up photography.
