Tuff and light
Excellent strength and the only tech cord I could find to go through the 6mm hole in Big Bros. The 25" length makes probably the lightest and strongest quad anchor around!

I'm a fan - Haven't tried many other types though
Actually really like it for anchor building so far. Not overly stiff. Feels very thin compared to 7 or 9mm cord. Forms knots easily. REALLY REALLY REALLY wish it came in 30ft. For reference, 7.6m = 24.9ft. Probably will buy 2x. On a multipitch you might need another anchor at the same time or a longer extension than a sling can provide. Can't pick your colors, but the purple I got is pretty gnarly.Great AMG guide video on youtube about how to tie this & avoid the triple fisherman's knot in the system. Video is called, "An Improved Way to Tie a Cordelette." I'm in no way affiliated with the video, just found it epic. Of course the quad or equallette would be more ideal from recent studies done at sterling rope, but a simple master point is still awesome. Also be aware a recent 180 degree bend test over a dull, but pointed metal object (not cutting the rope), showed that in as little as 1000 bends, high tensile cord like this can lose 50% strength. While straight nylon loses nearly 0%. Something to be aware of. At 50% 19kN / 4271 lbf = 9.5kN / 2135 lbf. Which is still very good for a single strand (doubling up would yield approx 2x strength). Max force leader falls are estimated around 8.5kn. Just might want to replace this after a season or so, not... 5 to 10 years like I've seen people do with nylon. As always - it's more likely your trad gear will slip out or the rock will crack or deform enough under fall forces before any pro breaks. As such you may want to look into pure nylon (inner and outer) or more dynamic setups.

Amazing!
I have used this for anchor building for years now. It's thinner, lighter and stronger than regular cordelette. It's the envy of my climbing friends. Ever since I got it, I use it exclusively.

Stiff at first but is a great cordelette
The sterling cordelette is a strong rope. When you first get the rope, it is very stiff. But, will soften up over time or you can soften it up by working it. I worked mine by tying the monkey braid (Chain Sinnet) numerous times.

Great cord, just wish they delivered the same color
Great cord for alpine objectives. Only wish they let you pick your color. I ordered 2 of them and they were different colors, easier to mix up which is the only downside.

This product is not cordelette(s). It's a length of cord. It is of good quality.
