Rhythm Clocks "Encore Espresso" Magic Motion Clock

I have had Coo Coo Clocks, Grandfather Clocks, Mantel Clocks, and a Bird Clock, but this is the most beautiful clock and sweetest sound I have ever owned. I keep it on Spiritual Music for the most part, change it to Patriotic on some days, and at Christmas will put it on Christmas music. Yes it was higher in price, and that was a big debate for me for awhile, I checked the price on other sites, many were higher than Amazon, a few even $100 to $200 for the same clock. So I ordered it. It was very well packaged for protection, easy to set up and hang on the wall. The price, well at the end of the day I always felt the way I always feel. You get what you pay for, I have seen Grandfather Clocks for $200, they work by batteries, the good ones sell for $1,000 that you wind. This particular clock is well made, and worth the price. Once you have it, you would never second guess why you bought it.

Beautiful clock. This is our second Ruthie Clock and we are very happy with both of them.

The media could not be loaded. We love our new clock. One thing to know is you have to find the right spot for it. It needs to be on a well lit area that gets plenty of light or it won't chime.

Ordered clock to replace our old one that we loved. It worked correctly for 20+ years. This clock description did not indicate a light censor but said we could manually stop music at night - clock delivered has light sensor and it only allowed music/motion to work once or twice a day even though it hung in exact place our old clock did. Returning clock, note we bought this clock because of manual switch since we had to return the first clock we ordered 2-3 weeks ago because of Same issue. Will be trying another company.

A Rhythm Clock was on my bucket list for many years. My husband and I decided to buy one for our anniversary. After lots of research and reading most of the reviews to find common threads, we finally chose the Joyful Encore. It is perfect! No defects. Lovely hard grained wood, deep rich tones, sparkling crystals and movement. As with others, we wish it worked without light, but if we want to hear it at night, we simply turn on the light and dim it just enough for the clock to work. Otherwise, we let it be. Another thing scratched off my bucket list.

I received this on August 16th so has been on the wall less than 24 hours. Not much of a trial period. The clock was easy to hang due to catch area on back. The clock is designed to go off at dark, with only end table lights on it quit playing music at 9:00PM. Everything appears to be working OK.Two, strange things: 1) Paperwork says put good batteries in and will last a year. Yet they put batteries in, only good for six months. 2) Paperwork says get model# off the lower back, there is no model# anywhere on this clock.

It was a gift to us from an old friend. Our granddaughters, who are three years old, love the singing clock. We also get to teach them to tell time on a analog clock. They run to the singing clock and are now able to tell time.
