Leather Hero Leather Color Restorer Repair Kit- Refinish, Recolor, Renew Leather & Vinyl Sofa, Purse, Shoes, Auto Car Seats, Couch 4oz (Cream)

I ordered the mahogany color, excited to be able to repair the sun damage on our leather couch. I opened the bottle and used a Q-tip to apply a small amount to a test spot. The color was dark brown with no red in it, so it doesn't match my couch at all. I tried to return it, but they say you can only return unopened containers. Nowhere on the bottle is the color even named. How do I know they sent the right color? And I'm just out the $ since I opened it and used a Q-tip amount. Not worth the risk.

This leather color restorer was easy to apply. It works like paint but doesn't make your furniture stiff. My item had very little of it's own color left so I was concerned as to whether it could be restored. The application went on smoothly and quickly. It dried fast. I only put one coat and it covered well but I may do a second coat just because my item was unevenly colored to begin with. Great stuff - I would recommend to anyone trying to save your leather/pleather item.

My roommate and I got this sectional for very cheap and we thought the tan leather was horrible but furniture is expensive and we’re college students 😅. Eventually, we realized the couch probably started off as brown so I order this in medium brown, and extra tub and the satin top coat.All I can say is wow. After three coats of the color restorer (took 2 containers to cover the entire couch), it literally feels like we got a whole new couch (and the foam applicator thing is great). Applying the top coat soon!

I tried using this to touch up the side booster where the color has worn off from use. Following the directions closely and using the cleaner supplied I carefully prepped the worn areas. The color didn't match, no surprise there though, trying to match a color just won't work so this was not the fault of Leather Hero. One problem was trying to get the coloring on just the worn areas, that's hard to do with the applicator. Also the coloring didn't seem to want to penetrate into the leather.In fairness to Leather Hero, I'll add that I believe that if I was doing a large area, where the coloring could be evenly spread without worrying about coloring other already colored leather, it would have been acceptable.

I was skeptical about any product that claimed to restore a leather couch back to a new leather look, but this product did exactly what it advertised. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show you. I considered putting this leather couch out at the curb feeling it was too worn to even warrant selling. Now, after using Leather Hero, I am going to keep it. Exceptional product!

The best thing is the commitment of this company to pleaee their customers! They go above and beyond to let you know they are there to help. The repair treatment was done by my husband, who didn't ask for help, so it's a bit thick. It mended the rip in our couch, and the color match is perfect.

The color went on easily and beautifully. I just finished putting on the top coats few days ago, so I can’t review the longevity. I’ll update this review later.I don’t have good before and after photos, but the bottom corner color was worn from each corner and some color was worn from the woven section. The color covered and did not clump between the woven leather strips.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the ease of application. Just clean it and let it dry. The first coat was not the color I expected-I got tan, but it is really orange. I added another coat and then ordered another can in the medium brown. I will update with photos of finished product.
