Beautiful colors and opens AND closes with the button. Easy enough for my elderly mother to use.

Not sure who designed the umbrella: the inside becomes outside when closing it. I previously had two same umbrellas with same Claud Monet's water lilies and loved them. But it was holding to the wind nicely which is very important. If not for the umbrella's underside getting outside when closing it, would give 5 stars

The Monet exhibit came to my city a long time ago... and was one of the things Mom and I did together.. She bought the Secret Gardens umbrella there years ago and of all of her collection of Brollies was her favorite. It broke about 3 years ago and I had been looking ever since for an acceptable replacement.. This is a very nice bumbershoot, and I really like the fiberglass design.. far less risk of her cutting her paper thin skin on metal, and it feels a lot more flexible and sturdy. This model is also a very pleasing print, and is larger than her previous one.. It is almost enough for 2 people. I also like the fact it is both auto open and with a second press will close the canopy with a snap.. then all you have to do is push it back together to collapse it. Thank you so much.. I just wanted to give her something nice she would enjoy and actually needed.Con...I was minor disappointed that this particular purchase comes without a matching sleeve, but she said it is OK and probably would never use it anyway.. so it is alright..Namaste...Au.

Beautiful design and nice an sturdy

This was a replacement for the same I bought at the MFA in Boston 15 years ago. It is so easy to handle, is compact, and has easy open and close mechanism. If you love Monet, you'll love this umbrella!

Had previously purchased this umbrella at the art museum in Boston five or six years ago. Was my favorite...until the wind caught it recently and snapped a few of the ribs. Was so happy to find the exact replacement! Will watch the wind in the future.

Let it Rain! Being a Floridian, we get rain pretty much every afternoon in the spring/summer. I have many different umbrellas scattered everywhere between home, work and the car. This one has become one I just toss in my (admittedly large) purse and go. It seems solidly made and no issues after 3 uses in light to moderate rain. What I really love most though is the colors. Rainy days are dreary by default, so why add in yet another boring black umbrella? The cheery colors make me smile, and those smiles even spread to those around me when they see me whip out the Monet Waterlilies!

This was an excellent Christmas gift choice. It was very good quality and the person receiving it was so happy and surprised to get it. She said, What a great gift! It's gorgeous. I even let her open it in the house!

This umbrella was purchased as a birthday gift for my sister in law. She loved it!
