Excellent purchase. I've had it for a week and am delighted with it. I'm 78 years old, have had two spine surgeries, and cannot lift anything heavy so was pleased that no installation was required. I simply lifted the existing lid and seat and placed this raised seat on my standard toilet. Because the base fits into the toilet for a few inches, it does not slip or slide. It's safe, secure, comfortable, good hard plastic, and even seems easy to clean. Better yet, I do not worry at nights when using it in the dark as it also has indentations on each side so that I can use my arms, if necessary, to help lift myself as I would in getting out of a chair. It might not fit as snugly on an elongated toilet but for all ordinary round toilets this is a perfect and most economical addition.

This seat is the perfect height. I had knee surgery and even though I've recovered, a little raise helps. The bag is just a big sturdy plastic bag, but you can't see through it. I would definitely take this with me if I were driving on a trip. Note the seat fit my round toilet perfectly.

I bought this product for my mom to use while we were on vacation traveling. We did not find one toilet that it fit on. Unfortunately, our vacation ended after the 30 day return date so I am unable to return it. My recommendation to anyone considering buying this is make sure it will fit your toilet because it must only fit one certain size. It seems well made.

Love the seat but there is no information on replacing the traveling bag when damaged. Can you please provide information.

This riser DOES NOT FIT MOST as is stated in the listing. In reality, it fits very few. Be sure you measure your toilet BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE to avoid disappointment and/or jerry rigging to make it useable. Also, regarding the “discreet” travel bag that’s included: IT’S A DRAWSTRING TRASH BAG. If you do a lot of traveling you’d be wise to buy a duffle or tote as the included bag will not last long at all. It isn’t particularly discreet either in my opinion as it is fairly thin.

Great low price, fits in beach tote bag. Perfect for bum hip or older knees that can't do a regular toilet.I took mine to appointments in buildings where the handicap stall not available; I was waiting on a hip replacement.

I wish I had purchased this years ago.As a disabled person who has great difficulty using low toilets, this is a life saver!Of course my home is outfitted with raised toilets, grab bars, etc., but when I travel, it is very difficult to find hotel rooms that have raised toilets. I just purchased this and used it on my first trip. I just lifted the toilet seat and placed the raised toilet seat on with ease. How nice to not have to struggle to sit so low down! I will never take another trip without it!As an aside, the product description states that it comes with a discreet travel bag. Well, the only thing that the seat came in was a clear, plastic bag. I emailed the company to ask if this is what they considered to be a DISCREET travel bag, but they have never replied to me. I had to use a garbage bag :(

Be very careful when purchasing this and similar items. They are NOT RETURNABLE. However it doesn't say that anywhere on the site. You aren't informed of this until you try to return it. I understand the health issues, but there should be a notice of some kind that is obvious to the purchaser.
