GREAT GE Product
I wanted a way to leave more than 2 items plugged in at the same time though I only use one product at a time. Moreover, I wanted a brand that I could trust. GE was the first name that came to mind, and after quite a bit of searching on Amazon, I found it. This multi-plug outlet is great! While one could plug 6 items into it at once, one would need to be careful a out overloading the circuit by running too many things at one time. However, if one is begin sensible, this is a GREAT product that allows for wise use of a small space, and it keeps one from wearing out wall plugs by continually plugging in and unplugging appliances. I have five appliances in the bathroom that use electricity (a toothbrush, a waterflosser, a nasal decongester, a diffuser, and a clothes spinner). It is irritating to have to choose the right plug each time I want to use one. With GE's 6-plug adapter, I can keep all of them plugged in, and use each product when I need it. I implicitly trust GE products and did not want to buy something branded with a name I did not know. This product works perfectly.

Great design
This is perfect for outlets where you need to plug in several devices with larger plugs. I use it with a fragrance warmer plugged in the front and chargers plugged into the sides.

Pricey but practical
Wall taps with USB tend to have only USB A ports, or an underpowered USB C port. This modern wall tap comes at a price, but it adds a capable USB C port, with support for a range of voltages and up to 30 Watts of charging power — enough for fast charging. The eight 120 Volt outlets (most wall taps have three, five or six outlets) are handy, but keep in mind the overall 15 Amp, 1,875 Watt limit, reduced by the power consumed by the low-voltage USB subsystem. This wall tap is big, but it gets top marks for providing outlets in different orientations and with different amounts of space around them, so you can plug in items with bulkier shapes. I think making space for all kinds of different items, rather than encouraging you to fill every outlet, is the reason why 8 outlets are provided.I am including a photo of the electrical ratings from the back of the device, so that other people will know the precise specifications of the USB A ports and the USB C port.

Awesome surge protectors
These surge protectors blend in nicely when they're plugged in. I like that the outlets are spaced out so that large power adapters don't prevent you from plugging in other things. They're fairly secure when plugged in, but they do gradually get loosened over time; you just have to remember to hold the surge protector in place when you unplug something. That's not a big deal to me; they're still great surge protectors.

An Outlet Saver but A Thick Boy!
I live in an apartment with very few outlets and 2 lights for 4 rooms (one of those located in the bathroom). Needless to say, I need to make use of my outlets for ALOT of things. I needed a way to make a 2 plug outlet work for 6 without using giant surge outlets. This was a perfect fit! It plugged right in over top the existing wall plate (didn't need to unscrew/screw anything in like the other reviews?). Only downside is that it's thick and protrudes from the wall a bit. It's the cross you'll have to bare though.

Does what it should do
Very presentable and not messy like the long power strip version. Works very well with all outlets plugged in, going strong for a couple of months now. This outlet wall plug holds firm when trying to remove other plugs attached to it. Overall it is a great product to have if you don't like using long power strips.Edit: Bought my first one in 2019 and It is now the end of 2022. I had since ordered another one in 2021. Both of these still work very well with almost all sockets in use most of the day :)

Perfect For a Cramped Area with a LOT of Appliances
My kitchen counter has numerous appliances/items that need to be plugged in, (ex: Alexa, coffee maker, phone, alarm system base...you get the idea!), yet there is only two outlets with two plugs per outlet. So, I was always having to unplug something to plug something else in.With this outlet it has made my counter much more appliance friendly! It is small enough to not take up a lot of room, yet it has enough plugs to do the job!I highly recommend this product!!

It melted
Not sure but within a year of using it, one night it just melted and there was a black hole at the back.Unfortunately, I threw the photo. I am disappointed that it worked less than a year.
