NY Elegance Stainless Steel Shaving Bowl with Luxury Shaving Brush [2 in 1 Kit]

If you like a stiffer brush, you will like this one. The brush handle has some weight to it but not too heavy. The handle is small and so is the bowl, so these are great for traveling but also excellent for every day use. Almost instant lather and it took less than 20 seconds to fill the bowl with lather! This outperforms my more expensive bowl any day of the week. I took off my one star because the brush I received had the bristles smashed in an uneven pattern and the bristles smell a little like Lexan plastic after you cut it with a saw. However I don’t smell it when just using the brush. I was able to easily reshape the brush simply by using a blowdryer on hot, and carefully heating toward the tips of the bristles until it was good. I still recommend buying this set.

For an synthetic brush, it’s comfortable and overall not bad. As someone who has been shaving for 50+ years and never used a brush shaving system, I did expect more lather. But I suppose that could be a result of the shaving soap. Anyway, a B+ rating.

Just an incredible value. The brushed aluminum handle on the brush feels incredible and has great heft. The brush dries fast which makes it an excellent travel kit. The price makes it an excellent starter kit.

Got this part of my husband anniversary present. An he finally used it and seemed to like it. He said he felt lile sweeny todd. An then pretended to die. Lol he is aaaa goof ball. But i know he always wanted one of these sets.

Looks good for the price! So far very functional.
