Solidly made, Good price
Solid feel in the build, buttons, and connectors. Works well. It's basic, and doesn't appear to maintain the presence of the device when connected to the other computer, so you'll see the device recognition process begin each time you switch. On my computer, I'm using this for a keyboard and sometimes a webcam, so it hasn't been an issue for me.

Multiple ports, simple and works flawlessly
I and using it to swap a keyboard, wireless mouse and controller in between my main desktop and my PS4, no problem so far. Does exactly what I bought it for. The button for the switch is on the top and easy to access. And I no longer have to unplug and replug in hard to reach spots. I did run into an issue with my keyboard lights causing the device to turn off and on (drawing too much power) but adding a 5V power brick and microusb cable USB solves this. Very good purchase especially for the price.

May not work with all keyboards
Every now and then the keyboard freezes, otherwise it does what it is supposed to do. I purchased 2 and they both have the same problem. Won't buy again.UPDATE... After much tinkering trying to eliminate the keyboard freezing, it turns out that it was the keyboard creating the problem and not the switch. After replacing the keyboard, the switch works fine. However, I tried the old keyboard connected directly to one of the computer and the keyboard worked fine. That tells me that this switch may not be compatible with all keyboards. I'm upgrading to 4 stars from 2, still knocking 1 star due to compatibility issues.

Solid Build - Good Value
This is a metal case and well built. It comes with the needed USB A to USB A cables to connect to your 2 input sources (PC & Laptop or whatever). The button switch is easy to use with a tactile feel. The 4 other USB ports on the front are blue so you can tell they're USB 3.0 ports. I run one to the back of my monitor which then gives me 3 more USB 3 ports. The other one is being used for an external hard drive shared between a couple computers for fast data transfer. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for value is that I had to buy a separate 5v 2A charger to plug into this. It seems like a device like the should come with it's own power cord. The worst part was giving my money to the Marxist hate group at Amazon.

Exactly what I needed
Working from home I wanted an easy way to be able to switch my mouse and keyboard between my personal and work computers.Since my monitors support multiple inputs I didn’t need an expensive video switch. I just connect both computers directly to the monitors and let them auto switch. I just needed an easy/inexpensive way to switch the keyboard and mouse. This USB switch was exactly what I needed.I have a 2017 MacBook Pro and a Desktop PC. This lets me seamlessly switch between them.I connect this hub to the MacBook using a USB-C 4-port hub and it still works fine.I did have a bit of an issue with the PC where it would sometimes get stuck at boot. But switching the bios to “full screen logo” (oddly enough), fixed that (apparently otherwise it waits for keyboard and mouse to be present and won’t boot if they are not).I door not connect the included external 5v power cable. Whatever the computers supply is enough for mouse and keyboard.Build quality is solid — metal housing feels sturdy. It also comes with a couple of screws to mount it but I leave it sitting on top of my desk because the LED showing which computer is active is useful and wouldn’t be visible if mounted under the desk.Overall very happy with this switch.

Perfect device for controlling two computers
Fast, well designed, 4 USB 3.0 port switch between 2 systems. This kit comes supplied with two USB3 A-A cables to connect two PC's up to the switch. Then you can connect a set of peripherals to it and you can switch its use between the two PCs with the click of a button. I use it to connect a wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard and a headset to two desktop PCs. I also have one free port to use when I want to connect any other USB device like a USB stick, gamepad/controller, etc. By the way for those of you who have two or more PCs/laptops/tablets and want to use one set of keyboard/mouse for all you may want to consider a software solution called Synergy. I have Synergy installed on my several computers/laptops/tablets and I can really move the mouse from one screen (PC1) to another (PC2) to another (PC3), etc, and even share clipboard to drag and drop files amongst them. Also share keyboard as well (active to where the mouse is).But why I buy this hardware USB solution on top of Synergy, you may ask? Well, firstly, Synergy only allows sharing of a keyboard and mouse (not other peripherals like a gamepad/controller), and secondly (and most importantly) it requires the PC on which the mouse and keyboard are connected to, to be turned on as that particular PC acts as the "server". Now with this puppy I can just turn on either of the two desktop PC and be able to use the keyboard and mouse without necessarily having to have the "server PC" on. It also allows me to use either desktop as servers and have one on when I also use my laptops.

Not compatible with Xbox Consoles
Purchased this to allow switching from my PC to my Xbox One X. I have a Corsair Straffe RGB MK Keyboard and Corsair M55 RGB Pro mouse. Works perfectly most of the time on my PC. I did have instances of constant disconnection and reconnection to the PC which requires reseate. The connection to the Xbox is where the significant issues happen. The 4 and 5 buttons on the mouse do not pass to the Xbox. The most significant problem is the apparent malfunctioning of the Xbox itself with the USB switch connected. The mouse movement causes audio delay and the actual games to freeze. However, with the mouse and keyboard directly connected to the Xbox, these problems do not exist. Hours of troubleshooting to come to this conclusion. Do not buy this of you and expecting to switch between Xbox and PC.

Simple and easy solution
Works as expected. Switch easily between two PCs with a press of a button.I work from home and have two PCs (home and work) and two screens, but I wanted single pair of keyboard and mouse and this works perfectly. When both computers and ON I use "Mouse Without Borders" to be able to use both computers, however when I turn off work laptop I now don't need to plug in/out any UBS cables.

works until it doesn't
I'm using it for quite some time now and in general it works quite fine most of the time. It is great to switch my usb devices like mouse, keyboard, headphones and microphone between my work laptop and my private PC. The problem is that it randomly dis-and reconnects, about every 2 to 4 hours which just causes an outage of about 5 sec but this is way to frequent. So about every second day it disconnects while i'm on a business call and evenly often when i am in an gaming session which makes it awfully annoying. I tried quite a lot of things like external power etc. but it seems like its caused by using more than 3 devices. By connecting only 3 or less it only occured very very rarely. The problem is that i need 4, thats why i bougth it in the first place. For now i will continue to try finding ways to keep it stable but my hope is very little.

Bra om du ger den powerinput
Fungerar som jag förväntade mig. Kopplar ihop olika styrenheter med olika xboxar samt använder en annan styrenhet med brytare för att stänga resp. öppna vägar till respektve styrenhet.

Trouble with peripherals while powered by the same computer.
Good product, design seems solid - but strangely I've been having problems with the peripherals not connecting to one of the computers I'm using it with. These problems seem to have been solved by not powering it, at ll, with the micro-USB.

Frustratingly close to being useful
Like many people working from home these days I suspect, I have a home desktop PC and a work laptop (MacBook Air). I have a cheap usb hub that I have been unplugging from one device and plugging in to the other. That setup has been working fine.I bought this switch for the convenience - so that I wouldn't have to keep unplugging and plugging and I could just press a button. First world problems. After setting this switch up I was pleased that it worked as expected. However, after using it for a while for work video calls strange things started happening. My audio would disappear for a while then return. And a couple of other really small but irritating issues that I didn't have with the cheap usb hub. I thought it might be an issue with not powering the switch so I plugged in power to the micro usb port but experienced the same issues.I switched back to the cheap usb hub and the issues haven't presented again since. The usb devices I had plugged in to this switch are:- Corsair backlit mechanical keyboard- Logitech mouse (via keyboard usb port)- Jabra PC speaker- Logitech webcam I'm going to try a different switch but don't hold out much hope for this one either.
