Black Wide Pin Belt - Full Grain Leather Strap with Certified Nickel Free Buckle

I am allergic to stainless steel/nickel. I knew that titanium belts would be difficult to find in stores and I did not want to look online for one. I first found out I was allergic about 12 years or so ago when I was in high school. I didn't know what the rash on my stomach came from at the time so I went to the doctor and they told me it could be my belt. I stopped wearing it for a week and sure enough the rash went away.I have been using cloth belts for years since then and then one day I decided to see if I can find a titanium belt online and I checked amazon first and sure enough they had one. I was a little skeptical at first seeing that these belts aren't cheap but I took a chance and I have to say that it works. I have no allergic reaction what so ever with this belt. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks when if I use a regular stainless steel belt I will have bumps on my stomach in about 2 days. This belt works for me and on top of that it is lighter and much better looking as well. I plan on getting a second one soon.

This belt is AWESOME! I don't know why I waited so long to purchase Ni free belts. The quality is great. This belt is for anybody with a Ni allergy or anybody who just wants a sharp looking and well crafted belt. I purchased multiple other belts made by Nickle Free. They know their belts!Update 7/6/16After 1 year and 4 months the belt developed a crack on the back of the belt. This is my go to belt, so it definitely got used. I was hoping that the belt would last much longer without defects. The manufacturer lists this belt as a 1 year warranty. Keep that in mind when you are making this purchase. I may look into belts from this company with replaceable leather. That seems like the logical way to go. Great company.

My husband loves this belt. He ordered the black AND brown one.So many "Nickel Free" belts really don't work. This is the first one he got that DOESN'T create a rash.BUT, after having it for only 6 months, the hole in the black one where the buckle goes through split.I contacted the seller/manufacturer and spoke to the most delightful man named Michael Dow.He was very apologetic, and is sending a replacement belt as I write this review.If you're looking for the best "Nickel Free" belt, use this Company. This is my 4th belt from Nickelsmart within the last 2-3 years. The quality of the leather is terrible; I thought it would be better since it claims it is now full grain, but I wear it as a dress belt to work and the leather just peels/flakes off and cracks. Its ridiculous. I have two brown ones that are fine, only the black ones seem to do this. On my older black one the entire buckle turned orangish pink. Terrible overall quality. When asking them via email about it the agent claimed this was normal and that I needed to rub polish or lotion on it- this was a brand new belt. Unacceptable, but they can keep it on because so few brands offer nickel-free solutions.

I am allergic to Nickel-metal alloys and develop skin rashes with mixed metal belts. I also hate the feel of most plastic "beep free" belts advertised as "metal-free". Thus I have a hard time finding belts I like. I am happy to report that this belt is high quality, not plastic, but did not set off my Nickel allergies. Compared to Titanium and other non-nickel, better than plastic, belts I consider this an excellent value.

Great durable belt! My son has a nickel allergy where parts of his stomach would break out if it touched a nickel buckle. We purchased a few nickel-free belts from other places but the belts were not made of leather and would break or begin to tear where the buckle holes are. He has had this belt for several months now and it still looks new with no break outs.
