Useful following back surgery.
It came in handy during back surgery recovery because I wasn't allowed to bend or twist my torso.

Doesn't work, gathering dust
My suggestion would be to save up and install a bidet. Unless you want to put on some latex gloves every time you need to go #2. The TP does not release from the product, you have to pull it off. It does not clean your bottom unless you go threw a time consuming process of wrapping, wiping, and pulling off the TP (yuck)again and again. The button does not release the used tissue. Poorly designed products like these only serve to frustrate and humiliate. Not even close to being worth the money. If it were $10 I still would not buy it. If you use it (of course) it can not be returned. The only possible way I could see this product useful would be for a female unable to bend or reach who needs to cleanse after #1.

Ergonomically designed.
Works well from front or back. Very useful for shorter arms or surgery recovery. Works best if you fold paper and tuck in corners rather than wrapping TP.

UPDATED REVIEW: decent quality, works well, but has shortcomings
UPDATE: I've been using the Buckingham Easywipe for about 2 years. Despite being overall better-made and better-working than the cheaper brands of the same type of wipe aid, it was still shorter than I would have liked and I went through 2 in those 2 years because the plunger portion breaks if you even accidentally put more than a tiny bit of leverage pressure on it. Overall it's a decent wipe aid, but I recently replaced it with another type from the brand Juno that's a significant improvement; holds the paper more securely, much sturdier, and longer.Original review: I've got back problems that make wiping difficult. I've gone through several of this type of wipe aid in the last couple years, and this one is by far the most sturdy, durable, and functions the best. My only complaints are it's not as long as some of the cheapo knockoff ones which makes it a little harder to use, and the accordion silicone plunger cover detaches from the handle constantly.

I am an OT. I recommend these to all of my patients who have a hard time reaching the unmentionables!! They are smooth, easy to clean, and extend your reach by plenty without having to bend and twist!! There are cheaper brands and expensive brands and most work the same. Most are about $20 so don't spend the extra money!!

Don't buy a cheaper alternative. This is the one!
I made the mistake of buying a cheaper competitor device first. It worked well initially but, after only a couple of weeks, the spring on the push button failed, such that you had to re-allign the button manually before it would depress correctly. Some weeks after that, the rubber around the handle and around the bulb began to come away from the body of the device.Though still usable, it ended up as quite a manual exercise, which was potentially messy and defeated the object. It lasted approximately 8 months.I odered the Buckingham as a replacmeent and it was obvioous immediately that it was a superior product. It feels much more substantial and works more smoothly. The finish is better and the rubber coatings appear much thicker and more substantial.I've used it for about 6 weeks now and it still works as well as it did on day 1.Very pleased!

Top Quality Handle
Other people have 'disliked' this product. As far as I am concerned it is very good at what it is designed to do.You cannot expect a 'miracle' handle to suit everyone, so you must make certain allowances.I find them very well made. I have purchased another 2; with my first one lasting over 5 years!
