Update 6yrs. Wow! Just the right lift and great product. Should of done this long time ago.
6 yrs later update. I ended up getting a 1 inch dig drop. You need to do this so your front CV boot will be a safe angle and will not harm from the increase in lift. Still feels firm and still using OEM springs rear, shocks and front coil overs. I am now going to the bilstein 5100. Add larger tires and starting to do some overland. You don't need the Full Out Off-Road to do trails and camp. The OEM 4x4 is good enough and just air down the all terrain tires and adventure out on a budget! Learn by picking good lines on the difficult trails...........My White 2003 Sequoia 4x4 Limited looks awesome with this 2.5 lift. Before, the Sequoia looked somewhat to low because the body style is a Big SUV. Now, this additional 2.5 lift balances the look, even with OEM wheels. Ride is smooth, and was told by mechanic install was easy. The Step-up is now a bit higher, and the view is higher, feels great driving and stopping at the lights sitting higher than most SUVs. The polyurethane is rock solid (same stuff used with your current shock bushings) and I am sure will outlast the truck. This Set-up gives you the look, the smooth ride, the tough-durable Easy lift install, at a fraction of cost compared to exchanging all shocks and increasing coils $$$. This still gives you the Factory Ride too!

Well worth it!
Well worth it and replace the shocks if you haven't done so already to match the bigger/heavier tires. I went ahead and replaced my worn stock shocks with Bilstein 5100s while doing this lift, I kept the front 5100 shocks on the bottom setting. Also added the Toytec 1" differential drop to help lower the CV axle angles. The ride quality and stance is perfect.

The bolts broke when torqued to 47lbs
The front bolt extensions for the strut top broke when torqued to 47lbs. The rest of the kit seems okay. But now I have to disassemble the strut and find the correct bolts. More hassle than it's worth. Buy a kit with higher grade bolts.

Item description is deceiving.
Item’s description is deceiving. It says it comes with sway bar bushings, bump stops, and shock boots. It does not. Talked to Amazon support, which were very helpful and they sent another kit to me. To no surprise it also did not come with mentioned items.

Went on easy and works so far like a charm. Thanks daystar.

I'm shocked and bummed.
On my 2002 Toyota Sequoia I replaced my suspension with brand new everything. I decided to grab this lift and pull some stuff back apart and add the 2.5 lift to my new Monroe struts and springs. Only to find out after hrs of trying every way possible to get it to work I broke down and called and asked if I am doing something wrong because everything is brand new. He explained that my new springs and shocks won't compress enough yet and that's why my upper control arm an spindal were rubbing/binding against the spring. Few busted knuckles later and I'm bummed cause I trashed my old springs/strut setup.

Did it in the driveway over two weekeneds
Things might have gone easier on a lift. Install took some prying and muscles. The parts were quality and the look is great. Noted that day near 3" all around. YouTube helped.

Does not come with all that is shown.
This is a great, economical and functional way to lift your vehicle. I've gone off-roading several times since I had it installed and so far so good. The kit did not come with everything pictured so I contacted Daystar to confirm whether or not the items were not missing from my kit and they informed me kit no longer comes with the bum stops, bushings or shock boots that are shown. They did this to lower the price of the kit and they found that the cost of labor to install the boots isn't worth any benefits of having the boots. I do however wish they still provided the bump stops. The sway bar bushings are available in a front suspension bushing kit.All in all, it's a good kit.
