Kirsten is now a rare collectible doll, but fortunately is also a truly lovely one. She wears a blue calico dress with a red and white striped apron, white pantaloons with eyelet trim, light brown knit socks and brown "leather" shoes. Yet it is Kirsten's body which is the outstanding part of this doll. Her hair is shiny and soft -- it looks real. Her eyelashes are thick -- apparently quite a bit thicker than those on the new dolls. Kirsten's eyes are a clear, blue gray -- practically matching the color of her dress -- and her skin coloring is something one simply cannot capture with a camera -- it is natural and pure with just a hint of blush on the cheeks and lips.
