Habanero Flakes 16 Ounces

These habanero flakes are great. Long gone are the days off buying my own and gassing out everyone in the house while drying them. These are a far superior deal as well. Great heat and flavor.

The red plastic lid has holes that are just too small for the size of the flakes. Easy workaround: unscrew the entire red cap and pour flakes en masse. Just be careful not to overdo it! The holed-portion of the red lid does flip-up, exposing the flakes directly, but it's much easier (and less likely to get habanero on your fingers) if you simply unscrew the lid and pour.Because it's so easy to pour without the lid, and the fact that you get a pound of habanero flakes for the price you pay, I still think it's a 5-star item.What can I say, it's freshly flaked dried habanero, with moderate-to-strong levels of capsaicin. It goes great on everything! Soup, Pizza, Chowder, Potatoes, Black beans and rice, Salsas, Jambalaya, Curry, Pad Thai, Ramen...just about everything you can imagine, except cookie dough ice cream, of course.

Packaging is def bulk, but great product. Seeds and pieces are about the same size.

The habanero flakes were fresh and very hot and tasty. What more could you want?
