I got this doorbell because our house has no doorbell and also because I was interested in the live video and motion detector functions on it. I got two doorbells one for the front and one for the back door. I will be returning one of them as the other one is already installed and being put to use. The one that I will be returning I couldn’t get to turn on without being plugged into the charging cord.Some pros and cons, in no particular order... it’s easy to install, comes with a user guide that walks you through step by step of how to set it up and how to program it. I like the live camera that you can view using the app. It does however lag from time to time. That being said, it has to be somewhat close to your router. Just to give you an idea of how close it needs to be, our doorbell is about 20 feet away from the router, and it lags sooo... yeah.The thing that really disappointed me was the motion detector function on the camera. It was mainly the reason why I bought this doorbell in the first place. There are three settings low, medium, and high. I’ve tried all three settings and sad to say, I hate them all. On neither of the settings was it sensing when someone would walk up to the door but would chime every 5 minutes when there was actually no one there. Another thing to note if you do plan on getting this is that if you don’t plan on hardwiring it then you have to charge the batteries every 3-6 months (per the manual).Would I recommend this product? No.

Very satisfied with this video doorbell. This sturdy product includes chime, batteries, 32G SD card, USB cable as described. Easy to setup and install. From the APP, I can see high quality pic and hear clearly from my visitors.Many features on APP. I just played them and found that it was an excellent APP. The intercom volume, motion detection sensitivity, video length, the scene of the videos, all can be adjusted to different levels based on what I need. And the setting is private and safe, because if I want to make some changes, I have to input my password. Like it!The feature that I like most is its motion detection. It will record a video automatically and send me notification if someone is moving around in front of the camera for several seconds. And the videos are saved in the SD card so I can play them back from the APP. The sensitivity of detection can be customized, you can close it or set it to some levels. For me, I made it as ‘Low’ because I want to get only those necessary notifications.Besides the videos from PIR detection, it also supports manually taking pics and recording videos when the app is in the live view. But it seems these kind of videos and pics would be saved in my phone album instead of SD card. It would be better if we can choose where they can be stored. But overall, the product is great!! Satisfying!!

I have been using this doorbell for almost two months, both the doorbell and the chime is working well! Good deal!Easily set up with the instruction and connected with my family’s phones! Multiple phones can receive notification wherever we are and watch the live view at the same time.The doorbell installed far away from my router, so I bought a WiFi extender. With the strong WiFi signal, the video quality is great and its two-way talk is super clear.Motion detection works pretty good but sometimes has some lags with the medium sensitivity. Videos automatically records when someone stays there for a while. It seems it can record unlimited videos. Not sure, might depend on the storage. But for sure it doesn’t need any monthly subscription fee.You can just use the tape to stick it and no harm to your wall. But I would recommend using the screws to mount it, which can prevent it from stealing. Rogues often occur in my community so I used the later one.But please be noted that, you need to remove the insoluting sheets that are attached on the one end of batteries, otherwise batteires cannot be charged. I did this mistake at first but finally batteries work well after I taking those sheets out.Overall it’s a great product, I would recommend my friends to buy it!

The motion detection is not very good. When it's set on the high setting it picks up every car that passes by my house, however if it's on the medium setting it won't even register someone delivering a package to my door. It also won't register me backing into my driveway, casually walking to my door, getting my keys from my pocket and unlocking the door. It will detect motion and start recording once I'm already through the door. This is on medium setting. There needs to be a software update to add a new level of sensitivity that's in between medium and high.The chime is nice, really like it. You can choose between multiple tunes and adjust the volume so you can hear it wherever you are in the house. The doorbell itself looks pretty nice and other than the motion sensing, is great. The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. Setup was pretty simple.

I should’ve sent this back when I had a chance. Now I’m stuck with it. It takes forever to load video. By the time I answer on my phone the person is gone. I contacted the company about it not loading video or taking extremely long time to load and they said it may be due to wifi signal but the device is not even 20 feet from our WiFi extender and works fine sometimes but not others. Now it’s telling me my device needs an update. I would not recommend this product.
