PentelArts Stylo Sketch Pen, Black, Box of 12 (JM20-AE)

I have been searching for months for a pen that will work in harmony with my Copic markers and other art supplies. I was using Pigma Micron pens at fist, but those pens ARE NOT Copic proof and fade when erased over. Not so with these pens!These are the best art pens I've ever owned. I was totally floored when I tested them on a sketch. I inked over the pencil and erased what was left with my favorite plastic eraser. The ink didn't smudge or fade at all. And when I went in to color it with my Copic markers, I literally squealed "yay!" when the pen ink didn't lift with the marker and smear all over my picture. Absolutely perfect!I ordered two, but I already know I'm gonna have to order many many more.This is now my go-to inking pen, now and forever. If you're an artist who needs a really good and flexible inking pen that won't smudge with your markers or fade with erasing, this is the one to get!*Word to the wise, though--this pen has a very tiny tendency to spatter if you get too aggressive with your inking. The spattering isn't anything outrageous, but I took notice of it.

I love these pens! I had one that I bought in a store about a year ago and had to reorder a whole box because I loved it so much. As an avid writer and doodler, I like that I can use the pens for writing and drawing. The line is smooth and the quality of the tip is more like felt tip than a ballpoint, but because of the plastic the tip doesn't get damaged like a regular felt tip pen. It does bleed through thin paper so don't try to use this for writing on both sides of binder paper. Overall, I love this pen and I am so excited that I have enough to last me for at least a year.

I actually like this pen and I own a lot of pens. The blacks produced by this brand is amazing. The tip will allow for at least two line variations. It took me a few weeks to get used to working with this pen partially because i wasn't drawing as much. Pentel makes several different bands and this was suggested to me by an artist by the name of Mark McDonell you can find many of his videos on Youtube. I don't have any issues or great wisdom to part on this product. It seems durable, I like the quality of black ink, it's not waterproof so be mindful when laying it down and so far it seems to work with prisma pencils and watercolor pencils.

These are delightful to write with. The ink flows beautifully, there's a lovely tactile feeling, and while if you're sloppy you might get a few flecks of errant ink overall it's just a great pen. I don't art with them but to me they're worth the cost just for how nice they are.

This is my favorite pen. Believe it or not, I have one that is 15 years old and still works. This is the best deal that I have found for them.I am attaching a photo of how the pen interacts with gouache on watercolor paper to answer some one's question. This pen is great on top of paint, not underneath.

Depending on how I hold the pen, I can get a thin or thick line and I love the feel of writhing with this pen. I hate ball point pens. Roller balls are acceptable but this is my favorite. It seems to have a very large ink supply.

Out of 500+ of pens I have this has to be my ultimate favorite! I keep repurchasing it!
