Say Goodbye to Stubborn "Goo" That's Stuck To Your Car
Recently, I stumbled upon a challenging task: removing the stubborn residue of duct tape from the exterior of my father-in-law's car. Anyone who has dealt with this knows how daunting it can be. After trying various products with little success, I found this spray. Skeptical but hopeful, I gave it a shot.To my amazement, the spray exceeded my expectations. With just a few sprays, the gel clung to the residue, not dripping off like many other liquid solutions. After letting it sit for a few moments, I began to wipe. The residue, which seemed like a permanent fixture on the car, started to dissolve effortlessly. The process, which I anticipated would be laborious and time-consuming, turned out to be surprisingly quick and effective. What impressed me the most was the lack of harsh chemical odors. Many cleaning products leave a strong, lingering scent, but this was pleasantly mild. Additionally, it didn't damage the car's paint, which was a significant concern for me. The spray not only tackled the duct tape residue but also worked wonders on other hard-to-remove stains and marks on the vehicle.Using this product turned a stressful situation into a satisfying cleaning experience. It’s a testament to how the right product can make a seemingly impossible task straightforward. No more scrubbing for hours or worrying about paint damage. This spray gel is now a staple in my car care arsenal, ready to tackle any sticky situation that comes my way. While my use was specific to car care, I believe this spray gel has the potential to be a versatile cleaning tool for various surfaces. Its effectiveness and ease of use make it a must-have for anyone facing tough cleaning challenges.

Removing Gorilla Tape Goop
Goo Gone Automotive is working well in removing areas of adhesive from Gorilla Tape from the roof of our Honda Odyssey. Our Sunroof was broken by an object that flew from the top of a logging truck while we were on vacation. We had to use the Gorilla Tape to secure a waterproof covering over the area until we could get home and have the repairs done. The attached photo shows some of the tape goop that is remaining, we have already removed an amount equal to this. We did have to apply Goo Gone (following instructions on bottle) twice before we got a clean car roof. Also has to use a plastic scraper. It’s still a work in progress (It’s 100 degrees outside) but I am very sati#died with this product!

Don’t get it on your bumper! It stains!
I like goo gone products and this one worked well. However, while trying to get a sticker off my car the spray got on my gray bumper and it stained!! It looks like an oil stain, but in a spray pattern. Whoops! So… don’t spray it near your bumper.

Great for removing emblem adhesive and old ppf adhesive
I used this on my c7 corvette to remove the old emblem adhesive and some old ppf adhesive. It works great and does not damage paint which was my biggest concern. You do have to put some pressure down but it did the trick. Then just wipe away with some water on a microfiber followed by a dry one.

Partially effective
Removed about half of the grease stain on the car paint. Will apply another treatment and hope for more complete results. If it works better on the second treatment I will update the ratings.

Worthless Product. Does not work.
We tried this on several areas of the car. We followed the directions on the bottle. Product was totally worthless. It didn't clean anything.

helped with paint overspray on my brand new car
My brand new black car had WHITE over spray all over the hood from somewhere. Everyone that looked at it told me I’d have to get a new paint job. I had detailers quote me starting a $150 to try and remove with no guarantee. Needless to say I went to a car wash, the ones where you use the sprayers yourself, doused my hood and let it sit for several minutes then proceeded to clean my vehicle. It did NOT remove it all the first time but there is a significant improvement on how much came off. Before my car looked like it had dirt all over the hood no matter how many times I washed it. NOW you can actually see shine on it again. I am so happy! There was no left over residue but I attribute that to hand washing my vehicle!
