After almost 5 years of consistent use from Spring to Fall, our old umbrella was at a point of replacement and sent us out on a search for a new one. After checking our previous reseller and seeing how they stop carrying anything more affordable, I hit Amazon. I stumbled onto this one but was a little skeptical due to the lack of reviews however I liked the way the base was designed and felt they put some thought into this. At the current price, it was about 30 - 40% less than I was thinking I'd have to pay which was a bonus.Umbrella arrived well ahead of schedule and the assembly was fairly straight forward. We took the sand out of the old umbrella base and used it in the new set even though it could have been used as it had a similar design and did fit. The unit is as well built as the one it replaced or so it appears. They also put attention to packing as each hinge in the umbrella itself was wrapped for protection and some. I do feel the fabric is a little thinner than what we had before but as long as it provides shade and does not fade in a few months, I have no issues with that. Only time will tell at this point.I like the fact it can rotate very easily which is a new feature (to me) so it allowed me to adjust the placement to a slightly better spot to address both mid day and late afternoon sun. My only nit pick at this point is they use two hex based screws to secure the umbrella to the base. The top screw hole was slightly off which made it difficult to screw in. My hope is this does not impact the ability to disassemble for for off season storage.If I remember, I will post an update once the season is over to highlight our success or failure. With a nice Ohio weekend of use under our belt, I am impressed (as one can be with an umbrella) and hope that others eventually leave more reviews that drive others to make this a contender. I did buy a new cover (Duck Cover) to protect from the elements when not in use and seems to fit well.

I liked the fact that it was nice coverage for a picnic table as it’s rectangular. The only problem was I found it was quite top heavy requiring two people to put it on the top part. The area we have placed it can be quite windy so will have to be extra careful when we have it out. I liked the fact it was solar lighting. Time will tell how it works out for us. It seems to be very good quality just wished it came with a cover.

This patio umbrella is both functional and beautiful. The LED lights are very nice at night and I love that they are solar powered and easily turn on and off with a switch. It came simply and nicely packaged in a rectangular box in two pieces. simply attach them until you hear a click then use the crank to open up your umbrella! I love the little red switch to control the lights. The umbrella is easy to open and close, offers a good amount of shade. The quality of this patio umbrella is good, it's feel solid and heavy, it's feel much heavier than my last patio umbrella. Loves the lighting and it's power by solar too so no need to run any long extension cord. Its made of update spun poly waterproof fabric, more breathable, 5 years on color, block up to 99% of harmful UV rays.The rectangular umbrella with 24 solar powered lights provide energy efficient lighting, enough light source, can last for 9-12 hours.It's easy to operates with crank lift handle for opening and closing with seconds. Its come with an anti rust 1.5 inches diameter aluminum pole with 6 steel ribs for superior strength support. This is a good umbrella but the lights are basically for looks because they do not put out light well

Very nice umbrella and the LED lights are a plus. Only thing I didn’t like was the winder to open the umbrella. It looks like it was poorly made. But it works. Hopefully it last.

Overall this umbrella and the base that it comes with is a good value for the money and adds a nice comfortable touch to my deck. The base, which I filled with water, is not quite heavy enough to hold the umbrella up in a strong wind. But generally speaking and holds the umbrella up nicely.

This is a great addition to my deck. I live on the water so when the wind comes up, I retract umbrella.
