MECoral ME Nitrate NO3 (16 oz) Pharmaceutical Grade Liquid

Quite simply, it works. I have a 40G ultra low nutrient SPS dominant tank and needed to get my nitrates up above 0 ppm. The dosing instructions on the bottle are guidelines, so I recommend starting light and increasing slowly to figure out what your specific tank needs.I started off dosing half the recommended dose and testing after 48 hours and the nitrates didn’t improve at all, so I added a full dose (5ml), which didn’t seem to show any changes either. The third time I doubled the dose (10ml). This successfully brought up my nitrates 1ppm.I now keep my nitrates at 2.5ppm and dose 10ml whenever the nitrates drop to about 1ppm. This is for reference. I recommend starting conservative and slowly increasing the dose until you determine what your tank needs.

Worked great to get my nitrates up. My skimmer and refugium stripped all my nitrates, but I still had phosphates. I wanted to raise nitrates for coloration of my corals. This got my nitrates to phosphates more balanced. Worth it if you need to bump the nitrates.

Nitrates in my mixed reef tank were running at 0 ppm. Used this product to raise them up to 5 ppm and the colors on the corals really improved almost overnight. especially the reds and orange colors. Great product would highly recommend.
