DechraDermaLyte Shampoo, 12-Ounce

gave my dog a bath yesterday and he loved it.

I’ve tried many different shampoos for my dog including ones prescribed by the veterinarian and this is the best by far. My dog, a German shepherd, is prone to dry skin. This shampoo does not contain soap or harsh chemicals and it doesn’t cause his skin to be dry. This same company also makes a cream rinse which is also great. Both the shampoo and cream rinse have a mild coconut scent. The shampoo lathers very easily and you don’t need very much to get your dog clean. It rinses easily and doesn’t leave a residue. I was obtaining this from the vet but it’s a lot cheaper buying it on Amazon.

Bath time is easy with this shampoo. Her fur is fluffy and skin itch is gone.

Smells really good, light coconut scent. It smells much better than their conditioner spray in this same line. My dog doesn’t have any skin conditions so I can’t comment on if it helps with that. But it was recommended by my vet for dogs with sensitive or itchy skin and my dog has healthy skin and coat. I just chose this because I wanted a healthy, chemical free option for my dog and it does just that.

It's the best shampoo out there for the pets. I really love how it makes my dogs fur soft. She does not itch like she used to. The best thing is this shampoo does not have that bad after smell. Some of the shampoos have a bad after small, which I used to hate.. So this is a win win situation for me.

I like to bathe my dog often so this shampoo is perfect for that reason specifically. She gets bathed every 2 weeks and with this shampoo, she doesn't get dry skin and she always smells nice.

We have used this shampoo on our German Shepherd for around 5 years. She was prone to skin problems with other shampoos. Unfortunately, this shampoo was no longer available on Amazon.ca so the shipping wasn't cheap. That would be my only criticism.

My husband is a veterinarian and recommends this shampoo to all his clients. I like the smell and it does a good job of getting our dog clean. It also is easy to rinse out.
