Easy to install, adds privacy, & looks like real textured glass
I installed this film to small windows at the top of our front door, as well as our side garage door. I didn't want to spent money on curtains or little blinds, yet I needed more privacy and security for these doors. This works perfect. You can not see outside, not can anyone see inside. Some light does filter through, I'd say at 30%, so if you are looking more for privacy than complete light blocking, this is it.A few installation tips:-There is a grid on the back for easy straight cutting, however, you'll still need a ruler. There are also printed instructions on the back so the lines are not continuous.- I used a credit card to work this onto my window and get any air bubbles out.- I peeled the backing off a little at a time to avoid it sticking out of place on me. I did have to readjust a few times, so you need a bit of patience, but overall, installation is very simple for small windows.- before sticking this on, I windexed my windows, then got any residue/oils off by using a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol. Make sure you get the corners well. I let it dry, then installed. I think this may be the biggest reason why my film sticks well. It's been 2 years and has not fallen or peeled. The film has been up on my other doors now for 2 years. We have humid summers, and cold winters, and though the film is on the inside of my house as opposed to the outside, the weather has not affected the adhesion (I had read other reviews stating their weather had caused them to unstick and fall. The film still looks new and has not unadhered at all.The pattern is pretty and the windows look like they are really textured. Trust me when I say this because I will admit I am a very nit-picky type of person and want things to looks nice. These fit that. The film is also thick.I have not yet attempted to take it off the Windows, but from what I have read, should come off easy even after being on the Windows for a long time. I guess we'll see!I am not sure about using this for long or huge Windows that are bigger than the dimensions of the roll. This is because you will see lines in between your sheets, and I think it would be difficult to line them up perfectly so that there's no gap, in addition to cutting them so that they perfectly flush together. I can also see it being frustrating to work a larger price of the film for a bigger window... might get frustrating. But, for small windows within the dimensions of the roll, it's great!I would definitely recommend this product for small windows.

Relatively easy to apply, looks great. Highly recommend
It took me about 45 mins and 2 rolls to cover my slightly wider than normal glass door in my living/guest room. It definitely took some patience, but it was totally worth it, as no one can actually tell that it's contact paper! I wanted a bit of privacy for our guests, since the door is glass (and worth noting I hit my head against the door the first week I moved into my apt). This is perfect for the job. Still lets light through, but you can only sort of see shapes during the day or at night with lights on. At night with lights off, you can't see anything. I highly recommend this product. SO cute.

Cheerful pretty privacy.
I love this product. It is like having icicles on my bedroom windows. My windows are about 5 feet from the ground and my neighbor and his buddies are constantly working on cars in his driveway which is my view. I was always concerned about turning my bedroom light on at night because they could see right in if they wanted to. I was tired of changing my clothes in the bathroom and being afraid to turn my light on and not always wanting to havethe blinds and the drapes closed. Now my room is private and still bright and I can still see the sky through the upper part of the windows. Makes my room very cozy and private and they were easy to install. The windows look so classy and frosty.

Good product,
Relatively easy to apply, but try as I might, still ended up with bubbles. Pleased with the amount of light that it lets in, and that it works well to prevent prying eyes from seeing into my office. One suggestion is to start in a less exposed visible section of your glass . .. you will get better at applying it the more you do it. I applied this to a paneled window (6 panels) so it was probably more difficult than it would have been if I were dealing with one piece of glass. It should be easy to remove in the future, though I don't know what time and exposure to the sun will do to the adhesive.

Just what it describes
Worked fine. Please know these have an adhesive on the back so if you ever remove it you will probably have glue stuck all over your window. I removed an old one to replace it with this so I'm not worried about it. I used this on a first floor bathroom window... it lets all the light in but is not so sheer as you can see anything. It's very pretty and I like not having to block any light with curtains.

Looks like a million bucks
Who knew that a film product applied to sidelights would look so good? The sidelights in the door of the house we just purchased were scratched beyond belief. In addition anyone coming to the front door could peer right in and see us. Not a good thing. This film took care of both problems and looks gorgeous. Very well pleased. If you plan to use, be sure you have all your tools and spray bottle of water within easy reach. Also an old credit card-type plastic device was all that was needed to squeegee the water out. It seemed like it was going to be overwhelming to do, but in reality, the process was pretty straightforward.

Buyer beware
Pros:- Privacy: no one can see through the window once you put this in place- Install: quite easy (but you need to be carefullCons:- Does not quite look like glass. Sorry, other films look much more realistic. This looks like plastic.---> Now, the really important thing <---this has glue. After some time it becomes very difficult to remove and over time it can be nearly impossible without damaging the glass.I strongly suggest window films that adhere using static charge, which can be removed at any time.

Privacy without compromise
The film has a slight adhesive backing on it so you'll have to use the water with a couple drops of dish detergent in a spray bottle to prep the surface. What I like about this design is that it allows me to enjoy my window door inserts and gives me more privacy. My window door has a rougher looking wave and a soft wave. The soft wave allows for anyone to look into my house and see inside my house. This film obstructs the view without compromising the beauty of the window insert.

Excelente!!

Simple and works well
I like to have natural light in and it doesn't alter the window like adding drapes does.

Ottimo adesivo

Worthless product
The idea is good but it doesnt work in practice. If the window glass is not super even and newly made there will be microscopic bubbles between the film and glass that will expand as the air heats up from sunlight, causing the film to loose from the window. The film itself has no flex and it doesnt come with a liquid sealant, so its next to impossible to get it to adhere to the window flush. Very unhappy with this purchase
