I bought this for my girlfriend as a gift, as she liked the look of it. I haven't used it myself, but it definitely does look pretty sharp - figuratively and not. It is not practical though, and I would never buy this for actual use. Main reason being the large cut-out in the center of the blade, as well as an awkward shaped handle. Elk Ridge has many much more practical, and nice looking, knives. 5 stars for the intended purpose however.

I love this knifes but it happens that lose the screws and the lock isn’t lock very well wish is dangerous. If the craftsman put some theater lock on the screws and take care of the lock issue is a realy nice knife.

Great looking and smooth blade action. I am very particular and do some weekend wood working. The burled Maple handle is very good quality and fits very well into the knife handle. No filler to make it look nice. For the price, it is a super showy knife.

Some of the wood was worn and looked faded. Needs a Leather holster. But its a effective stabbing tool.

Very cool knife. I own several Elk Ridge knifes, and for being inexpensive they have been very good knifes.

I have a small general store and this knife is one of my top sellers. The customers like the burled wood and the cool elk laser cutout design on the blade. Great value for the money!

Good looking knife,I really like the elk on the blade. The bad thing is that the locking system is very hard. Not sure if it's only mine but it was so hard I had to get a screwdriver to unclipped the lock.
