Great Vacuum Sealer.
Great Vacuum Sealer.This machine works very well, I used it to make portion packs of artisan sausages (3 sausages), these only take about 12 seconds to vacuum & around 10 seconds to seal. It is also very quiet in operation. Ideal for home use.The machine is very compact & stores easily in a kitchen unit on edge so doesn't take up much room.I'm very pleased with my purchase & would recommend it to anyone looking to start vacuuming food.

Doesn't do the job it's designed to do
Bought this product after having it sit in my wishlist for quite a while.Used it the first day after receiving it to vac seal x2 chicken legs in one of the supplied bags, seemed to go well - Until about 3 days later the bag had gone a sickly green as it obviously hadn't been vacuumed enough. I put this down to me incorrectly using the product as I had only just received it.Tried to use it over the weekend, this time to seal off some paste I had just made. Using the 'moist' function I put the end of the bag into where you're meant to and was very meticulous this time in doing it right as I didn't want to waste what I had just spent some time making, and all the machine did was suck out some of the water which had been released from the veggies, creating a right mess and on top of that didn't even seal the bag!It was at this point I thought no, not worth the hassle. Don't bother.

The unit is flimsy, not sturdy; poor catch for lid closing and opening system.
Smart looking. I use it to portion dried mushrooms and frozen vegetables.
