I love them. my earrings always hitting behind my ears and it hurts when i sleep. these cover the ends and work perfect. they are an end cap. the silver showing is very small, there is no twisting on, they just slide on. worn for 1 day now and they are still there. tight fit. I would buy again.

Also they do not look like real gold to me either. Others say they turn green, so they are likely not real gold.
