HDEPlus Size Dolphin Shorts for Women Running Workout Short Athletic Bottoms

So I'm a huge fan of the sweater/oversized T-Shirt and dolphin shorts combo. I think it's cute. Iconic. I'd been wanting that look for my lounge wear and for the upcoming summer I know I'll be regretting not having any light comfy shorts for. The main problem standing in my way: I'm 5'2" and 220 lbs, shaped like an hourglass. While my stomach isn't a huge issue, my backside definitely is. I have a little waist and 50 inch hips. That makes finding pants, especially cute shorts, a NIGHTMARE. I couldn't find dolphin shorts that went beyond a size M anywhere, especially not ones that wouldn't cause huge gapping in the back even if they did fit.These shorts though?? AMAZING. They're SO comfy but they're not see-through. The fabric is soft, the elastic actually stretches, and I didn't need it to because they fit so well. They fit over my hips and butt easily but can still be pulled via the strings to fit my waist well, but even if I don't, they don't gap. I can wear these high-waisted or low-waisted. They're super breathable and I LOVE them. I got them in blue and red and I'm gonna come back for black. GET THEM!!

I ordered these shorts because they looked really cute and comfortable. Indeed they are, however, I normally wear a size 3x because I do like things a little loose. I'm a size 20 pants/jeans and a 2/3x shirt and I ordered a 3x in the shorts. They are great and thin so they're not hot but they do run a little big. Luckily they tie at the waist otherwise I'd be pantsed constantly, I kinda wish they were elastic at the waist as well. I still wear them but will definitely order a 2x next time. They are a great style and nice to wear around the house or outside doing yard work. Another thing to be said is that if you have larger thighs these fit loose in the legs which is great since most of the time if I DO get a 2x the legs end up being tight and waist will fit fine, yeah frustrating lol. I do recommend these shorts but be sure to do the research on your sizing since everyone is different.

The shorts are super cute and run a bit on the large side. I’m a solid size 24 (3 in hot topic and Torrid sizes) and they hang off of me which is fine because they’re primarily meant to be sleep shorts. (I ordered a 3x)My only complaints are that the drawstring is too short and if you lose the drawstring you can’t keep the shorts up lolI’ve got a smaller waist with a big booty so I tie the drawstring to fit there then have a hard time shimmying it over my booty lol.Or you could do what I did which was untie them and then lose it completely and spend 2 hours with chopsticks and a coat hanger in your underwear on the floor trying to fish it back out lmaoOther than that they’re a nice silky texture and really soft on the skin ~

So cute! It might fit a tiny bit large, but that’s okay by me, just makes them more comfortable! I wear these around the house, out of the house, and to the gym.

If you want shorts with elastic, this is not it. I used the sizing chart to get my size, but mine's a bit bigger. Which is flattering in one way, and wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for one thing.The tie is indeed like a giant shoe lace and there is no elastic. I bought myself some elastic to try and fix this problem.Take caution. Tie your laces together when washing, and then again before throwing in the dryer. I had to spend time 're-lacing' after I took it out of the dryer. I might stitch it in place in the back.That being said, the fabric is comfortable and nice to wear. Know the rainbow around the seam on the side is not stitched down completely. If that kind of thing bothers you, this is your sign.In the end, I'm going to try to make it work.

I'm a 5'6, 200ish lbs curvy xx chromosomes person, but unfortunately these didn't fit me!! It really rests on your waist, so if you're under a certain size it just falls off. It makes me really upset since I love them so much! I'm going to try to make them work since the fabric is great, the color is awesome, super breathable and they're perfect except for the size.Be aware if you're like me and normally rest on the 1x/XL area, it might be too big for you.

Super comfortable! It was more true to size than I expected so it was larger than I needed, but I don't mind at all. I would definitely recommend these!

Fit my daughter perfectly, she's 13, about 5'6 and weighs about 160-170 lbs. I got her 1X. Not tight at all, she could have maybe gotten away with a X but it may have not fit as comfortably. Good quality. I want to buy her more pairs....
