Oxford OF3 Boss Alarm Disc Lock with 100dB Audible Warning

The lock is large very visible and the construction is solid. Directions are straight forward making this an easy piece of gear to use. This unit can also be used with a chain as well. Pricey but i feel confidant that it helps protect my motorcycle from theft.MikeDPeace

The lock works great and the sensor for the alarm works as needed.

It seems to work well however the arming beep is louder than the actual alarm and it was missing the allen key and the minder cable. Atleast if i start to move the bike around the warning beep will remind me that its on.

It works great on my My motorcycle no complaints.But it would be nice if it had gps and cell service so you will know location and get mobile alerts when the alarm is triggered. And Maybe even a proximity alarm.

VERY loud & sensitive. Will let you know if someone even brushes against it. Really easy to use, sturdy & did I mention it's loud (neighbors even heard it)?

Does exactly what it says it would. Sensitive enough that it won't go off by noises or a slight touch. As much as I like the thickness of the U pin, it can fit into a 10mm chain link, just for your information. Aside from that, easy concept and effective.

Overall: DOES NOT COME WITH MINDER CABLE OR AN ALLEN KEY* Nice high vis yellow shouts "f- off". The alarm is a bit wonky though; sometimes after locking the alarm would go off as I walked away.Pros:- High Vis yellow makes it known that your bike is not to be trifled with- The shackle is pretty sturdy and thick although it's confusing what size it is. The box says both 14 mm and 16 mm...- Alarming feature is a plus- Comes with three keysCons:- Does not come with a minder cable like it said it would (However it looks like the pictures and description have been updated after my purchase).- Does not come with an Allen key to remove and change the batteries. The screw that they refer to (for the battery removal with the use of an Allen key) is a Phillips screw though... so a bit confusing.- It's confusing what size the shackle is. The description says 14 mm but the the boxes says both 14 mm and 16 mm...This lock is having an identity crisis. I don't have a caliper on hand but to be safe, go with the lower number.- Alarming feature has two flaws: 1. Motion detection is a bit wonky. It get set off randomly sometimes after you lock up 2. The actual alarm is lower in volume than the set and armed "beeps". In fact it actually sounds lower than 100 dB. Will confirm later and update

Solid lock, it’s not too bulky where it’s hard to carry with you while riding and it’s not too small where anyone looking to steal your bike wouldn’t notice it. The alarm is pretty loud but decently sensitive where it gets set off easily. Does NOT come with the minder cable like it says in the description. I opened my box and that was nowhere to be found unfortunately. Would have been 5 stars if it came with the cable.

There should be a handlebar safety wire but there is not. Alarm is sensitive to movement which is good. I don't have an issue disarming it like others have mentioned.

The locks I received (2) look very different from the one on the Amazon store-front. It's probably just an older batch picture on the site.But it works well enough and seems ok. Hopefully it's not a knock-off of the original. (Shame on Amazon if it is a rip-off version)Most notably though, it does NOT come with a carrying case or a reminder chord. It's ONLY the padlock with 3 keys and some batteries already fitted.It's also a pretty hefty lock. Much bigger than expected, but more in line with the old style D-locks from 20 years ago. And they were pretty reliable.The alarm works after a small delay and constant tampering, but it's not as loud as I was expecting and sometimes doesn't go off if the tampering is intermittent. But for the price, it's definitely a deterrent.Average quality, missing some items, functional, worth the cheap price.Let's hope it lasts!

A great product easy to use and is a good deterrent protector.The alarm is not that loud but is shrill and quickly irritating which is good. It is sensitive and any messing with the bike sets it off . Also no need for unsightly yellow cables to remind you you have a disk lock on the alarm does that job too.the size also meanes you can add another chain or bar to secure your bike to something else. I have also used it on my pushbike in Cambridge..A great product if the plastic felt a little more robust that could only add to the appeal.. well worth the money.
