Alaska Smoked Salmon, Sockeye, Wild Caught 16 Oz. Filet

I was having a small Birthday celebration where the guest were vegetarians and I could not find a cater for under $300.00. I decided on salmon and to do it myself but did not want to turn on my oven to cook in this NYC heat. The smoked salmon end up being a perfect choice, which I served with potato salad, cooked string beans and fresh cucumber salad.

The Salmon was very tasty, but extremely dry, and the brine it shipped in did not help other than to make it very salty

Like that product is shelf stable. Family all like the taste.

Salmon fell apart when I removed it from package. Trying to make this the centerpiece of a salmon tray it was disappointing that I had to "patch" it together. It should have been firm looked like it was either over smoked or old.

We decided to wait until after Christmas to purchase this as a special treat. It was wonderful on crackers with thinly sliced red onion. We also will have some with whipped cream cheese on a specialty cracker with capers. So glad to find some smoked salmon that we do not have to go to the store for, in these times of Covid. My husband was very pleased and we will buy it again.

Nice taste. Versatile (sandwich, salad...). Kind of expensive.

I had many many options on Amazon. What caught my attention is that Fairhaven Bay Seafoods is in Bellingham, WA . I’m originally from Washington. It is known for wild Salmon. I can’t find fresh Salmon where I currently live in Hawaii.To top it off it was described as moist. I’d already purchased lox & smoked Salmon at the grocery store but didn’t find the texture that I was looking for, until now. Absolutely delicious! I will order again. I’m on Weight Watchers and it’s a great source of protein with very few “points”.Perfection!
