The Black Paper Journal | Dot Grid Notebook: 8.5x11" Dot Grid Black Paper (Black Journals) Paperback – March 4, 2019

Didn't read the dimensions and it was bigger than i thought it was, i thought the black would be more intense than it actually is, still a good product though!

It’s a large 8.5 x 11 inch soft covered, dot gridded notebook. Arrived in an envelope, so wasn’t flat.As can be seen, the actual paper inside the journal is grey (cover and object in picture are black for reference). Color is inconsistent throughout, with extra lines and blocks of area in different shades of grey.Gel pens, etc will not pop as well as they do on a true black.Definitely not a purchase that I would make again - disappointed, as understood this would be ‘black’ paper. Quality is subpar with the added inconsistent shadings and lines throughout.

The notebook is quiet beautiful indeed. I can deal with what appears to be a few oil patches but is on the back cover so no big deal, however I wish they where a regular notebook size is a little to wide which will make it a struggle to take anywhere. Is perfect for like a wreck a journal type of craft but def not for using it as a bullet journal or personal journal the white dots are a little to distracting but other then that is a beautiful notebook if you want to paint or like I said a wreck this journal type of crafting.

Is this black paper? It seems like instead of using black paper and printing white dots.... they used white paper and printed it black-except-for-white-dots. This may be a really small point but it's weird and it leaves white edges on haaaalllff? the pages? Made by exactly the same company as a competing black-paper journal which I ordered at the same time which is ..... exactly the same.... except for... the cover, kinda, and I guess the bar codes.

I use a grey gel pen and love it... the paper is not pure black

I’m somewhat disappointed with this notebook. The color shows well, and there’s no bleeding. But the dots are too bold and visible, making it hard to focus on the writing/drawing itself. The dots are also far apart. If you use it to draw or you write big, this one might be for you.I also don’t like how the notebook is glued. I feel like if i open it too wide, the pages will come out. After use, the cover couldn’t close back. Another thing that I don’t personal like is how big the notebook is. This one is my fault but i prefer A5 size.

I wanted some black paper, it was black paper. The dots were printed crooked on some pages and the pages weren’t cut necessarily well. Not super black, but dark enough. Considering the only black paper I had before I got this was construction paper, I’m satisfied enough. Also take note it is not spiral bound!

Nice quality. Paper is more gray than black. I ordered three and all of them were covered with a weird oily substance than doesn't wipe or rub off.

I liked that this was cheaper than the alternatives. However it is poorly made and has white lines on the top of the pages. These all vary in size so it just adds to the cheapness. Perfect for a messy book or for children perhaps. But for a journal you want to treasure it just feels unworthy.

Unusual writing with white on top of black. Bought this notebook together with matching white pens for 15 yo teenager. Very pleased with purchase!

Love this. Makes a nice change from a normal notebook.

The quality of the note pad is really good but it came with a suspicious liquid all over the cover...like if someone sneezed on it (During a pandemic it's not very nice lol)
