This stuff is so amazing. I really can't write enough about it! Yes, it is cheaper at Walmart, only 4 something. Buying if from here though, saves me a trip and the dreaded walmart lines. I have one cat and one bag lasts probably closer to 3 weeks. I could probably go more but as soon as I smell anything, I change it. I used to use arm and hammer, I loved it. but, I was throwing away giant clumps of pee and feces every day. Mimi litter I just flush the feces and mix up the litter every day. AMAZING! No smell at all. I've had comments from friends about it. Also, does not track around the floor as bad as previous litters. As far as cost goes, another HUGE savings for me. I used to spend 10.00 weekly on the arm and hammer. This is only 7 bucks every 3 weeks, 4 if I go to walmart. Now, I will tell you getting my cat to use it was a challenge! I did not read the fine print and just switched out the old and new litter completely. She was not amused. Peed behind my tv and went number two on the kitchen floor... right it front of me, as I watched her! I think she was trying to tell me something! I ended up buying the little cartridge that sprays air when motion detects her behind the tv, and locking her in the bathroom with the litter box for about 3 days until she was comfortable with the new texture. After the 3 days she was good. It's been a few months now with no issues. I really can't say enough how much I love this product.

This is the greatest, all other reviews are right-on,BUT, two four pound bags at Wal-Mart, 8.34. You're asking nearly 18.00. More for the same amount. Is this ludicrous, or am I going blind? I have FIVE cats, therefore I use four boxes, 8 lbs ( 32 lbs ) every 8 to 10 days. I am A 70 year old widow on Social Security. Can't we do a little better when ordering on line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was told that ordering in bulk, and on-line would be a great help. We have 3 Wal-Marts within 25 miles of my home, and none EVER have enough stock..

Usually the Crystals we purchase last for weeks - these the smell was so horrid after 1 week - had to be changed.

I love fresh step crystals and saw this “special litter” or Mimi cat litter was about half the price in stores. I thought I hit the jackpot. It doesn’t cover the smell quiet as well and my cat has been coughing every time he uses it. I don’t think I will be buying again.

I've used this before. Tried another brand when this was not available. This is best. As long as you stir it up every day so the wet crystals come in contact with the dry so they can transfer the moisture, it will last for weeks without developing that stale "pee" odor. And it dries the poop, even diarrhea, so thoroughly there is no odor whatsoever from that either. Plus with the crystals all you are scooping out is the dried poop so there is little waste for disposal.

Sold for under $5 at Walmart. What's with the price? Is this a mistake. As far as the $5 bag if silica gel crystals is concerned. Great product. We have been using this brand for 3 years. Great for the litter box. I also steal a scoop every few months. To fill a old sock to put in our safe. Works great for absorbing moisture.

This is a great alternative to clay cat litter's and lasts a very long time. It's important to remember you must gradually transition your cat over to this silica litter . It took two bags and three weeks to completely work my cat into this product .
